Peaceful weekend getaway!
This house is everything and more! The surrounding area is perfect for hiking. The porches and fire pit are perfect for sitting and relaxing. It rained during our stay and I loved sitting on the upper porch watching it. It is absolutely as shown in the listing. I loved all the cute fall touches and I want a shower just like the one here. We will definitely be back!! Thank you for a relaxing weekend.

Place was very clean and comfortable. Hot tub was fantastic. Location was great, very peaceful/secluded but close enough to Shenandoah for hiking and there are nearby towns for dining. Host/check in both perfect. Would definitely stay again!

It was a peaceful stay. The property was well taken care of and clean! A charming cottage set back away from the hustle and bustle. We enjoyed Virginia. Wonderful place and experience
Very peaceful, clean, up to date and great location. Hiked to the top of the mountain on a well maintained several mile trail on the property with incredible views. Thank you to the hosts and will plan to visit again. What a great tranquil place to relax!

Woodsy but not secluded
My husband and I stayed for the weekend. While the home is definitely out in the woods, it is not as secluded as we had hoped. There is a large occupied house that looks down on the rental house and hot tub. The ring doorbell can also see the hot tub, and we did not feel like it was private enough for us to use. The house is beautiful and there is plenty of space to wander in the woods.

Stayed here for a weekend for a mini honeymoon/wife’s birthday. The cabin had everything we needed and more. We stay at a lot of cabins around shenendoah valley and this one was definitely high on the list of quality. Very clean and cozy. We took a hike, enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub, grilled, and relaxed on the upper deck. All the appliances worked and shower was great. Our only issue was the bed was very noisy and sounded like it could use some attention or an upgrade, there was a good amount of japanese lady bugs and stinkbugs, but this is pretty standard for any cabin I’ve ever been to and almost impossible to prevent entirely, especially this time of year, it’s just part of mountain life and they keep to themselves. Other than these small issues, no complaints. We had a very relaxing and peaceful weekend and maybe next time we will come up to enjoy the cabin in the fall. Would definitely recommend for a couples getaway!

Wonderful getaway!
The cottage was cozy, clean, and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed hiking and taking in the view. The cabin is secluded but only a few miles from town. We enjoyed a local brewery and distillery while exploring the area. Would definitely stay again!

Great Location
This was the perfect getaway for a weekend trip with my partner. The house was decorated beautifully. The indoor fire place was great in heating the place up quickly (it was 50 degrees inside when we arrived). We also enjoyed the hot tub outside during the brisk evenings. Place was clean and the owner was quick to respond when we had questions. We would definitely return!

A Destressing Getaway
This was a really beautiful and clean property, secluded in the woods. My husband and I enjoyed a bonfire, laying on the hammock and drinking our coffee outside in the morning. The lift is really cute but I would advise anyone with young kids it’s pretty high (about a 10ft climb up a ladder). Our kids would have been frightened by the height. I would definitely come stay again. The owners did a great job with the place.

We had a great time and really enjoyed our weekend trip for our anniversary. The house was just the right size for the two of us. Very spacious bathroom and cute little kitchen/living room. The hot tub was great to relax in after a long day. The fire place came in handy the one day it was cold and rainy. The furnishings were very nice and we loved the way the house was decorated. There was plenty to do in the area when we felt like venturing out. It was a perfect place to relax and recharge.
