Ruby Cabin is one of two upscale cabins located at the Luxury Cabins @ Stony Ridge. Come and enjoy all the fabulous high-end amenities that will consent to the most relaxing getaway you’ve had yet!
With some of the most breathtaking hill country views available, you will greatly appreciate the large covered outdoor decks with outdoor speaker system so you can kick back and enjoy the scenery comfortably. Soak in the spacious private hot tub while gazing up at the beautiful Texas sky.

As you enter the cabin through the hard wood front door, your jaw will drop at the sight of the luxurious over the top interior design and décor. The shiny hard wood floors, exposed wood beams, vaulted ceilings, enormous windows, and superior rustic décor will melt your heart away. The spacious open living room with a large leather sofa that sits right across from the elegant rock wall fireplace with large flat screen TV mounted above the mantle. The double glass doors and windows that open up to the magnificent panoramic hill country views provide plenty of natural sunlight that brightens up the whole room.

You will feel like a gourmet chef if you prepare any meals in this large kitchen. The exposed tin ceiling, mood lights, stainless steel appliances, and ruby red cabinets provide great character and invite you into the room. There is also a propane grill so you can whip up some juicy steaks for a romantic dinner.

Take a peaceful walk down the private nature trail with your loved one right at sunset and enjoy a view together that you will never forget. Afterwards, cool down in the privacy of your own outdoor shower.

The cabin had great views! I felt like the picture on the website could have showed a better location of the hot tub, as it was down under trees and we could not use it the first night because it rained. I have attached better photos. The Ruby cabin we stayed in was right next door to the other cabin on the property with a few trees in between, but luckily we did not hear the other people in the cabin and both cabins are on a secluded lot. Other than that, the cabin was clean and had been well taken care of. We definitely enjoyed our stay!

The cabin was very clean & is a place with a country atmosphere. A great place to get back to nature & the views are incredible. The porch area was a great place to sit & have your morning coffee & listen to the sounds of the roosters. If you need a place to get out of the hustle & bustle of city life the Ruby Cabin is the place to come. We will definitely be back.

This is a really cool property, secluded (although there is another cabin nearby, it's not intrusive), and the views off the deck are incredible. The hot tub was sparkling and we really enjoyed it. What is lacking to make this place really special are the small touches - board games, books - and the kitchen is a real hodgepodge of utensils and cookware, making it really hard to really cook. A bit of generosity with supplies (1 extra roll of toilet paper for 5 days? 1 extra trash bag?) just detracted from what should/could have been an exceptional experience.

It was a great stay over all. Wonderful and peaceful view. We were comfortable except our first day when we got there. I did not expect the cabin to be extremely hot because they did not adjust the AC for the temperature in the cabin to be comfortable for the guests. I was very disappointed due to a long drive and arrived to our cabin to be uncomfortable. If you don’t mind the texas heat you’d probably be ok but for someone like me would be very uncomfortable. The communication with the property manager was very fast and easy. I would recommend for some upgrades for the kitchen utensils and plates because all the plates were chipped. There were old white stains on the red/ quilted pillow cases. So I am not sure how clean those pillows were. Wifi connections were great. Easy check in and out. Very clean bathroom and the jacuzzi outside was very clean so we ended up enjoying it. Despite of some hiccups, If we ever come back to Wimberly I will definitely book this cabin.

Secluded beauty

My husband and I got away for a couple of nights and really enjoyed the seclusion and peace of the grounds and cabin. The AC could not keep up with the summer heat during the day though. The cabin would not cool down until after dark. We notified the property management and they said they’d get back to us but never did before we checked out.

The cabin was easy to find from town. The cabin was very homey and comfortable. The cabin and property was beautiful with much time spent on the porch and hot tub making this the best place to rest and relax. We will definitely be back in the future.

A wonderful, peaceful and secluded property with an amazing view. We enjoyed the hot tub and the grill and soaked in the silence. Bed was a bit soft for my liking, but that was minor. If you need to unwind, this is a great place to do it!
