Freshly Renovated 1911 Historic Cottage- 60 Minutes to Grand Canyon

The Hancock Cottage was purchased by the current owners in 2016 and underwent an extensive renovation, opening in October 2016. This cottage will wow you with it's modern amenities and vintage charm.
This property is ideally situated on a hill in a safe and quiet neighborhood three blocks from Historic Route 66 where there is plenty of shopping and restaurants. The Grand Canyon Railway is within 5 blocks or a minutes drive. The view is amazing day or night! Williams is approximately 60 miles to the entrance of the South Rim of the Grand Canyon.
This lovely cottage is ideal for single or two family getaways who want to be close to the Grand Canyon, Railway, Polar Express, Bearizona, National Forest Land for hunting and fishing. This historic 1911 home has two bedrooms and one bath along with a sofa bed couch.
All the items necessary to make your visit pleasurable have been considered:
* Air conditioning/furnace
* Wireless internet throughout cottage
* Washer/Dryer along with laundry soap
* Gas oven/stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, Keurig coffee maker, K-Cups, sugar and creamer
* All the kitchenware you need to make a gourmet meal: dishware, cups, basic spices, crockpot, blender, hand mixer, cookware...FULLY FURNISHED you only need to bring the food
* 60in smart TV in living room with Netflix access and a Blue Ray DVD Player
* NEW Sofa bed couch (queen), two arm chairs and recliner in the sun room
* Shower/tub combo with hand nozzle for washing the little one's. Body wash, shampoo and conditioner provided
* All linens provided: towels, hand towels, wash towels, extra sheet sets, blankets, etc.
* Queen beds (brand new), closets, armoires, alarm clocks
* Carpeted bedrooms
* Smart TV's in each bedroom with Netflix access

My husband and I stayed in this lovely cottage 7 nights. It was truly our "home away from home". It was immaculately cleaned, comfortable, and very inviting. It had everything we needed. We enjoyed the Grand Canyon Railway, Bearizona, and all the restaurants and shops. We also spent a day driving to the Grand Canyon in our car and spent the day gawking some more. We also drove to Sedona and saw some of the most beautiful mountains and red rock on that drive. We had no idea Arizona was so beautiful. It was a great trip with many wonderful memories. I highly recommend this cottage for a home base!

Arrived for our stay late in the evening to a great looking place. On entry found that lights in the home were not working. Called the property owner and informed of the issue. Suspecting a circuit breaker issue I asked if I could try to reset the breaker. Breaker failed and I advised of failure. I was told that the problem could not be resolved until the following day. Williams Trip

The description is spot on. It is a very pleasant two-bedroom cottage with all the amenities needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Williams Cottage. Dara was just a text message away and responded quickly The cottage is very close to downtown Williams and the surrounding areas. Even though we are 'local' we enjoyed our four days in the Williams area playing tourist. My only suggestion - make sure the weeds around the front are removed. It would also be beneficial to replace the cracked up sidewalk. Someone could trip and fall with the missing pieces of sidewalk. Outside of that - this is a great place to stay - we would do it again. And have already referred the property to some friends! Thanks

Quiet, relaxing place to stay

It's a cute, eclectic cottage in a quiet neighborhood in Williams. Just take care parking on the street as passengers may slip on the steep slope if you park too close to the edge. The cottage was very clean, with plenty of extra blankets available in the closets for cold nights, although the pillows were a little on the lumpy side. The heater works well and the kitchen is fully stocked. However, we couldn't find a broom to sweep with.
