'We drove from California/Santa Barbara. Rented this on a whim. When we got there, we found it to be Super cute. We rented the black-and-white room. There were other rooms rented, but they had their own private bathrooms. I didn’t realize we weren’t gonna have our own when I rented it. But we didn’t see anybody else on the floor where we were so we didn’t have to share bathrooms with anybody. But we did meet a lady downstairs the next morning who told us about the river. 'Very welcoming guesthouse in a traditional style with beautiful stained glass windows and spacious common areas. Rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. Delightful host and great self-serve breakfast. Very convenient location in this SE part of Portland '

'Beautiful property in a great location! The inside is whimsical and cozy, with beautiful houseplants plants everywhere!. My husband kept saying he could see himself living there. The sculptures outside gave an added flare of cool. If you like edgy art and cottagecore style, this is your spot.'

'When we arrived we were greeted by our hosts who were so warm and cordial. There was plenty of space to sleep for me and my two brothers . Fridge was stocked with food and coffee . It felt like home! We came home with cherries from their tree outback as an extra treat!'

'Nice VRBO cottage in backyard of hosts. The cottage is well maintained and stocked with all of the essentials. The hosts are wonderful: friendly, helpful and responsive. My wife and I stay at many SE Portland VRBOs while visiting our grandson and we highly recommended this one. '

'The house was absolutely perfect — adorable and cozy. It was remarkably accessible with a collapsible bench in the shower that made my life so much easier! The hot tub was lovely and so relaxing after our long walking days. John and Dara were wonderful. Anytime we had questions or needed recommendations, they were quick to respond and so kind. I would absolutely stay with them again!'

'We had a great time staying at the Little Cottage on the West Bay Lake Oswego!The decor was so pretty and had a designated kitchen that had all that we needed! The outdoors was so special with kayaks, stand up board, life vests ready to paddle in the water, and several nice seating areas located in the beautiful gardens! We would stay there again! '

"De kamers waren ruim en redelijk schoon. De voorzieningen (ontbijt, zwembad etc) waren vrij gedateerd en smoezelig. We konden vanaf 15.00 inchecken, maar waren er al om 14.15. De dame aan de balie zei dat ze wel vast kon checken, omdat ze dacht dat onze kamer al klaar was. We hebben haar hier hartelijk voor bedankt. Achteraf hebben ze hier €40,- voor gerekend, voor zogenaamde early check-in. Als ze het eerder hadden aangegeven, had ik er prima voor willen betalen. Echter werd het als gunst aangeboden, omdat onze kamer ‘toch al klaar was’. Er werd met geen woord gerept over extra kosten. Ook zagen we dit pas achteraf op de bon, nadat ze het al in rekening hadden gebracht op de creditcard. De omgeving rond het hotel was redelijk uitgestorven, met veel zwervers in de straten eromheen. Ik zou zelf een ander hotel in een andere buurt kiezen de volgende keer."
