'Nice and peaceful place to stay'

'We had a girls weekend and it went great. The water was perfect, nice sandy bottom to the lake, hot tub was great, house had relatively comfortable beds. Neighbors apparently take pictures of the number of cars in the driveway, which I thought was quite odd seeing as the property is advertised to sleep 16 people. Other than that, the stay was great. Property is definitely not walking distance to any local restaurants or taverns, so plan on having a car to get anywhere. '

'This cottage is great, was exactly as expected. Nice and clean, and Gilbert Lake is a gem. Bonnie and Jeff were great to talk to and were totally responsive to all communication. We will rent from them in the future!'

'The cabin is just beautiful! It was everything as described. A comfortable, quiet cabin nestled in the woods and the accommodations were excellent. We had seven adults, a two-month old and a yellow lab. I highly recommend for a lovely getaway!!'

'Everyone in my family loved the stay. Plenty to do with kayaks, paddle boards, floating dock to swim to and games for rainy days. Lots of towels and kitchen stocked was fully stocked with all the dishes, cooking pans and utinsels you could need. Loved having the washing machine/ dryer and dishwasher. Made life easier. Would definitely stay again.'

'This was a very nicely maintained cabin. Owner was very responsive and helpful. My son enjoyed fishing on the channel from the floating dock. We really enjoyed our stay have already begun researching future dates to come back.'

'House was lovey and lots of nice amenities . Kids loved trampoline, play area and air hockey table. River tubing about 20 minutes away, great time for all ages. Close to walking/biking trails. UTVs not allowed on trails but can use local roads.'

'We had a wonderful stay! Cabin is really nice. Very clean, well furnished and super cute. Location is great - just steps away from restaurants and the boat launch. The large pier made it so easy to dock our boat for the weekend. Fred was very quick to respond to questions and so accommodating. We look forward to our next visit!'
