'Heavily overpriced for the quality you get (on food and beverages). Also paying for beach chairs etc. Hotel is nice and we enjoyed the installation but food and beverages were very basic while all charged on premium rates. Also very high fees to rent beach equipment which in my point of view is outrageous. We have much better experiences in Hawaii concerning that so definitively something to improve. No problem to pay a price but you expect something in return which we didn't feel at all. '

'Our group was divided in two different condos so we never needed to cook in the unit as we were together more in the larger one for gathering. We only used it for sleeping and showers. The absolute best perk of the unit is the hook-up to surf lessons on the North Shore from the owners. Best day of the trip for the teenagers in the group. Thank you so much for that amazing activity. 'The property is amazing, located on a golf course and a short walk (~5 minutes) to the beach (but beware, the beach is a little rocky). 'Comfortable studio apartment above the main residence is located in a typical, residential neighborhood about a fifteen minute walk to the beach. There are no amenities within walking distance. The adorable little town of Haleiwa is a fifteen minute drive and is full of tourist amenities. 'Just our style. Country sounds and gorgeous landscape. Even the uncle’s place looked like American Pickers (Hawaiian style) and sneaking through was as exciting as it was as a kid without the neighbor yelling to get off his lawn. Just a short beautiful walk to a gorgeous empty beach and a short drive to the north shore. Not for those looking for a resort experience but perfect if you enjoy a glamping experience. We loved it!'
