« This cottage was the perfect place for us to spend a week with our boys! The lake is a good size, we were able to catch lots of fish from the dock and on the boat! The kids enjoyed swimming in the lake, the sunken island was a fun place to take the boat to hang out! It was too hot this week to use the hot tub but that would have been fun too. The cottage itself was clean, well stocked and taken care of. We’d recommend to anyone looking for a cute and cozy place to stay with their family! Thanks...

« Immaculate property. Absolutely wonderful, I plan to book again. My only complaints are: host is unwilling to move check in/check out times, both of which are downright silly. Check in is 5pm (ouch) and check out is 10 am (ouch). That sucks kind of a lot when you’re trying to have a relaxing vacation. I also felt disconnected from the host, it’s a very corporate kind of “automated message system” sort of communication with them. I’ve had hosts in the past message me directly, interfacing with me...

« Perfect October weekend! All four of us loved it - 5 if we include the dog! We enjoyed the firepit under incredible fall maple trees. The sauna was a fun touch, and the home itself was great. We played games, cooked and grilled, explored the local area, wandered down to the river a couple times, spotted more deer than we count, listened to the owls, carved pumpkins and just really had a great time. »

15. Chippewa Lake cabin w/ pickleball court!

Chippewa Lake

« This was one of the most frustrating vacation experiences we’ve ever had, and our 4th of July weekend was completely ruined. The cabin was nothing like what was advertised. The listing is misleading, and the host appears to have mixed photos from another property. The biggest disappointment was arriving to find there was no deck in the backyard, even though the pictures suggested otherwise. Not beachfront, nor lake view in reality. Not worth. The cabin had a strong musty odor that made it...
