'Bei unserer Ankunft konnten wir das Haus zu erst ein wenig für uns erkunden, da Check In über die Schlüsselbox erfolgte. Was für uns unglaublich angenehm war. Jim, der „Verwalter“ vor Ort stellte sich später kurz vor. Sehr diskret, nicht aufdringlich und sehr freundlich. Das Haus begrüßte uns bereits wohlig warm vorgeheizt mit einem selbst gebackenen Kuchen. Vielen Dank hierfür :) Da wir über Weihnachten blieben, wurde sogar der Wohnbereich geschmückt. 'Enjoyed our time at the Tievemore house. Great view. Comfortable accommodations. Would recommend this highly. Ross beach was terrific bonus. There is BBQ grill left charcoal and lighter fo the next visitors. Confused about the recycling..Is glass handled separately? Think the Wi-Fi router needs replacing. Worked fine and then nothing. 'We had an enjoyable stay in the cottage. There is a lot of useful information material, but some information was outdated (WiFi password, name and number of the local manager, number of the proprietor). This made it difficult to contact manager or proprietor when we encountered a problem. Once contact was established, the problem was resolved smoothly. There is a nice 8 km walk starting from the cottage, the finest part of which is a stretch of coastline that is only accessible at low tide....

'Home decor was lovely , lovely linen, lots of space . Felt very comfortable staying there. Location superb - short car drive from everywhere. Few minor issues which have been feed back to owner - grubby laundry and main bathroom - ensuite was lovely , bins full.'

'We occupied the house for a week to investigate the area. The area is quiet and relaxing. Very nice to start our first week ever in Ireland.'

'We stayed for 2 weeks last year and 3 weeks this time. We have already asked for 4 weeks next year! Neither fashionable nor modern (the refrigerator is vintage 1970), it is the quiet respite we love and the location for daily drives and coffee looking out at Clew Bay. The housekeeper has made a huge difference in its upkeep, treated us as “her wee Americans” and gave us fabulous ideas for things to do, including Clew Bay Charters. We will count the days until we return.'

'Fantastisk beliggenhed med den smukkeste udsigt. Mulighed for mange gode ture - til fods eller i bil - fra stedet. Lejligheden var kold og uden radiator i spise-opholds-stuen (der var radiatorer i de andre rum). Vi savnede en ansat på stedet til at svare på spm. Fx da der ikke var varmt vand eller da vi ikke kunne få badet på 1. sal til at virke. Eller om de havde en mobil radiator til spiseområdet ;)'

'It is a really good house for a group of up to 10 people. It's three minutes from Westport by car and easily walkable too. The house overall was extremely comfortable and well equipped. The beds were really good quality and comfortable too. The only thing I would suggest is it would be great to have a few additional en suites but it worked well as it was for our group. We all agreed that we would happily rebook The Rocks were we to return to Westport again.'

'The Chalet was very nice. Even better equiped than we expected. And with a very warm welcome from the owners. The view is lovely and we had a great time. The hottub was a wonderful surprise. There's a lot to explore in the area. Especially when you like hiking (which we do). Also we visitied Galway, Clare Island, Westport, Achill Island and Omey Island. And of course the Wild Atlantic Way.'

'This is a lovely place for a holiday. Couldn't get enough of the views! Bed is very comfortable and kitchen just excellent with 2 ovens and luxury fridge! Plenty to do in the area or just lazy on the sofa... beaches and hills, no traffic noise, just great stuff!'

'This well appointed immaculate home provided all the comforts of home for our group of golfers from the USA. The beds were SO comfortable and the separate bathrooms for each bedroom were a real bonus. The property is tucked away in the beautiful, quiet West Ireland countryside and yet is only a five minute drive from the town center.
