Pensions in West Vancouver

'The host was adamant that we remove our shoes in the foyer but the floors in the rented room were filthy. My feet were Black shortly after getting out of the shower. The mattress and pillows were almost impossible to sleep on. The whole place just had a weird vibe about it'

'The Expedia listing says there is air conditioning. But there isn't any - there are two standing fans. It's a lovely penthouse suite just under the roof, but I really wouldn't like to be there in the summer. It will become an oven.'

'Two days before our stay we were notified that we were being moved to a different rental which apparently was an upgrade. What was not clear in the photo was the lack of space above the mattress (double) on the floor(no “bed”) and the ceiling. Not high enough to sit up while on the bed and have to bum scoot to the end and climb down a very precarious ladder. We both nearly hurt ourselves on it (super slippery) and we are pretty fit. It was heated using space heaters and while on, cannot use...
