'Property was just as described and more. Quite with lake view and access to put canoe into the water. The fire pit was perfect with chairs already set up. Set up inside was great. The light switches were the only downside. There were so many that went to nothing we could figure out. The sliding doors were also not the easiest to use, impossible for kids but seeing as I didn’t want them out without us anyway I wasn’t bothered by it. The kitchen is fully stocked but if you’re not use to stainless...

'We had a fantastic time! The house was immaculate. Had everything we needed. Plenty of towels. Lots of kitchen items including a few basic spices with olive oil etc. Hot tub was perfect. Game room was so much fun especially enjoyed playing Hookey! Would recommend anyone to stay here! Plenty of room to host a lot of people. Thanks!'

'This was an amazing stay for our family and fur babies, super clean, comfortable, with all of the amenities of home! Very close to all of the mountains, restaurants, downtown yet so very private and quiet.Abbey and the Indigo Team are SO responsive and go over and above to ensure you have everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.Definitely recommend this special spot and we hope to go back! '

'I enjoyed staying at Taigh Loch in Alton Bay so much. The house was very clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The location was very convenient as there was much to see and do there in the area. It was so tranquil and peaceful, I can’t wait to go back! '

'Perfectly clean and everything worked. Lights a little tricky to figure out. No dishwasher and could use places to hang up towels. Some poison ivy outside. Other than that, it was a nice, quiet, well-kept place, pleasantly decorated, exactly as advertised. Nice area, too.'

'The property is nicely located for visiting surrounding hiking trails and points of interest .We visited some great local restaurants and shops and went on The Cog Railway, which was wonderful! The house is comfortable and nicely furnished, and the hot tub was a big hit! There were thoughtful little surprises waiting for us, and Abbey and her team were quick to answer any questions before and during the trip. Thanks so much for everything!'

'We had a great stay. House was wonderful. The bottom floor does not have heat but heaters are provided. A bit getting use to but ended up being fine. Great communication and great spot. Will definitely rent again. '

'Shiva gave us excellent information about the area and was very clear, responsive and accurate, about the check-in procedure.In regard to the kitchen facilities they were as you would expect from an excellent rental location. We were able to prepare a meal for seven very successfully after a full day at Storyland. The kitchen was well stocked with herbs and spices as well as providing an excellent place to serve a wonderful meal. '

"Our experience was a mixed bag. Check in was good; the British lady was lovely and friendly. The room was nice and spacious and everything was clean and functional. However, the floors are made of wood and carry a lot of noise. We had a family with small children staying in the room above ours and it was like a herd of elephants was stomping around up there. The pool and hot tubs could do with a good scrubbing. The water in the pool was mucky and not very inviting. All went southways however when the fire alarm sounded a 7 AM in the morning. All the guests left their room and gathered outside but THERE WAS NO STAFF IN SIGHT. No one told us what was going on or what we were supposed to do. When we made a complaint about the poor communication around the fire alarm when we checked out the guy at the counter didn't even bother to look at me. It was a very disappointing ending to what otherwise had been a pretty decent experience. Do better! "
