'Our family of 5 (3 kids ages 7-12) was here on our holiday in between a visit to the northlands and then after we headed south to new Plymouth. It ended up storming both nights so it was nice to have a kitchen and table for playing cards, etc. Smash burger nearby was excellent takeout!! (But check opening times). 'Place was lovely and tidy and nice and peaceful the only thing that was inconvenient was the parking. On the website it says onsite parking. However there was none. And if the off street parking is onsite please be clearer for the future please but overall is was awesome '

'What a beautiful spot! We spent the night here for our anniversary and it was just magical. Looking out onto rolling hills and the bath on the balcony made romantic by the extra little touches of pretty lights candles and bubble bath provided by Vaughan. He also let us feed the baby calves and then we went down to the 2 cows to feed them. Prince the horse was out in the paddock so we didn’t get to say hello but Vaughan made our stay very welcoming. 'Very clean, felt high-end quality. Was stressful checking in because there was an issue with the lock code, and I ended up setting off the alarm when trying to enter! But getting the staff on the phone was simple, and they fixed the code within minutes. Minor annoyance, but there was only one tea towel - 2 would be better. Bed was extremely firm, but I'm well aware that it's a matter of taste. Overall felt nice and quiet, good sense of privacy.'
