Decent for a short stay, but barely meets expectations.
One of the main reasons we booked this inn was for the hot tub, but unfortunately it was only lukewarm. We also found that the shower water wasn’t very hot, and there was someone else’s hair left behind, which was disappointing.
There were a few other downsides during our stay. The train tracks right next door made for a noisy environment, and no robes were provided, which may have been a blessing given the circumstances. The heater was quite loud, and noise from other guests carried easily. Our mini fridge froze all of our food and drinks, and we weren’t given a “Do Not Disturb” sign the first morning, resulting in housekeeping entering the room until we later retrieved one ourselves.
Breakfast was another letdown — the hashbrowns were undercooked, and most items were soggy and cold.
That said, the stay wasn’t all bad. The king-size bed was comfortable, and the staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming. Ultimately, it served as a roof over our heads for a couple of nights, but nothing more. Overall, it barely met basic expectations for an inn and didn’t offer anything particularly memorable.
