  • Bring the whole family under one roof. Hoodland Hideaway is a Welches home among the evergreens that sleeps 10, with a private hot tub, a fully equipped game room, a backyard fire pit, and community pool access, minutes from the Salmon River and Mt. Hood’s best outdoor adventures.

    Traveling with little ones? We have high chairs, a crib, a pack and play, and kid-size plates and utensils ready for you. The game room keeps kids and adults entertained, and the roomy backyard has plenty of seating for everyone around the fire pit. Main-floor bedroom and bathroom, easy for grandparents and guests who prefer to avoid stairs. Well-behaved dogs welcome with approval; fee and rules in the house rules.

    Inside -
    * Bedroom 1: King Size bed en suite with private bathroom and direct access to outside hot tub.
    * Bedroom 2: King Size bed with dedicated workspace and room to lounge.
    * Bedroom 3: Queen Size bed.
    * Bedroom 4: Two twin bunk beds (4 twin beds total).
    * Two full bathrooms
    * A fully stocked kitchen with an island and room to cook a big group dinner
    * A complete game room with table tennis, pool table, Pop-A-Shot, shuffleboard table, TV, PutterBall, games and more.
    * A comfortable living room where everyone can gather
    * Air conditioning for summer, plus a bench and coat closet in the entryway for jackets and boots. We even have a shoe/boot dryer!
    * We stock coffee and snacks for your arrival, and decorate for the holidays in December.

    We’re about 15 minutes from Ski Bowl and Government Camp, 24 minutes from Timberline Lodge, and 30 minutes from Mt. Hood Meadows. In summer, there’s hiking, biking, and fishing nearby, and fall brings colors on the trails. Winter means skiing and snowboarding.

Great weekend and the house was perfect for our family group attending a wedding in the area. House is very comfortable and everything you need is there- it was amazing to be in a house where everything was thought about. We will definitely be back!

Group Trip to Meadows

Stayed here for a few days while boarding at Mt Hood Meadows. Great area, Nice Porperty, Clean, No complaints. Would stay again.

We loved this place!

We loved staying at the Hoodland Hideaway! It was super clean and comfortable! We loved the hot tub after hiking and the outdoor area was beautiful. We love visiting Mount Hood and will definitely stay here again. 10/10 recommend.

I would give this a 10 out 10. This place was our very best place we have stayed. We want to come back every year and more often in the year. This home is beautiful and its perfect for family time.

Beautiful and clean property with a lot of amenities that make this home a relaxing and comfortable place to stay! Plenty of things for kids to do in the game room. The home is well maintained and provided the perfect home base during our stay in the Mount Hood area. The host provided clear communication and was a pleasure to deal with. Easy check in and so many thoughtful details like snacks and coffee provided. We would absolutely stay here again. Do not hesitate to book this home for your stay in the Mount Hood area!

The house was beautiful and well thought out. When they advertise being family friendly they truly mean that! High chairs, kids plates/utensils, pack and play, and even a crib! A traveling parents dream!!

Excellent Game Room

We came to OR for both a wedding and a funeral. There was a lot of time spent hanging out with family. Between the game room, the backyard oasis with enough seating for everyone, and the comfy living room, Hoodland Hideaway was the perfect spot to spend time with everyone.

Great place for a family pre-Christmas gathering

Wonderful place. All one level, which was great for my 84 year old Mom. I love how the place was decorated for the holidays and all the amenities were provided. The owner let us change the reservation to inlude a dog at the last minutes, which was much appreciated. We enjoyed the game room, the hot tub and the fire pit, among others. I definitely recommend this home for a gathering of family and/or friends.
