Charming home with stunning lake views!

This charming house has wonderful sweeping views of Seneca Lake! A 10 minute convenient walk along the lake to downtown Watkins Glen restaurants, bars, shops and other destinations.
The house has a sitting room, a living room with You Tube TV, and games, a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. We can sleep 5 comfortably and 8 MAX.
Upstairs there are two bedrooms with a full sized bed in each.
Downstairs there is one large bedroom with a queen size bed AND two twin beds that includes its own bathroom. We call that the bunk room! This house is great for families or groups looking to enjoy the lake and wineries in the area, explore the Village, the Watkins Glen State Park, the plentiful hiking, beautiful waterfalls or Watkins Glen International Race Track.

Spend the days exploring the beautiful finger lakes and then relax on the outdoor deck with a glass of wine overlooking beautiful Seneca Lake after a busy day!
Ample parking with a driveway that can accommodate 4-5 cars.
We can forward all kinds of info to you via this app upon request and will have a information available to you including suggestions for many of the areas points of interests. (Restaurants, Wineries, Bars, Water activities and short road trips).
We have enjoyed eight seasons as vacation rental owners and look forward to hosting visitors this 2025 season at Green Point Getaway!
Julie and Joe. *PLEASE NOTE* after the 2024 season from December to March we will be renovating. We will be upgrading the entryway adding a new front porch, new front door and a new sliding glass door -! Edit: 4/2025 it is complete but we are still working on updating our pictures!

Mooie woning met prachtig uitzicht

Als je de Watkins Glen regio wilt bezoeken is dit een perfecte plek. Groot huis met een mooie veranda met uitzicht op het Seneca meer. Wij (gezin met 4 tieners) hebben genoten van deze plek, heerlijk gebarbecued, maar ook koken kan prima. Heel veel kruiden en zelfs nog spullen in de koelkast om te gebruiken. De vuurplaats buiten hebben we iedere avond gebruikt voor een kampvuur (er lagen zelfs marshmallows voor ons klaar). Hangmat in de tuin is ook leuk. De tweepersoonbedden vonden we wat smal, maar voor die paar nachten ging dat prima. We hebben de Watkins Glen (5 minuten rijden) bezocht en die is prachtig. Supermarkt ook dichtbij. En Julie is heel goed bereikbaar en behulpzaam bij al je vragen en ze heeft veel goede suggesties om te doen in de omgeving.

I come back to this house every year with a group of friends. It is the perfect location for us to explore wineries, hike trails, and visit Watkins Glen. We love the openess of the house and exceptional outdoor living space and often spend afternoons outside enjoying the lake views. Julie is a fabulous host who has added a lot of small details to the property that make it welcoming. We plan to keep coming back!

What a magical weekend. I can't think of a more perfect place to stay in Watkins Glen. The view of the lake was gorgeous, it was a quick, easy walk into town, and the house was charming. Will DEFINITELY be back.

Wonderful property with beautiful views, if I could’ve given it six stars I would’ve. It’s perfect for a relaxing stay or if you’re looking for things to do the Gorge, wineries, lakes, town, etc are all nearby. The host was very accommodating and responded quickly to messages. The property was beautiful, the view of the lake from the house is spectacular. the house its fully equipped with everything you need for your stay. everty detail has been though out. the host has everything labeled through out the house to make it easy and assesseble. the location is very close to resturants and shopping. the host was very helpful with suggestion of activities and restaurants for my family. She even did some personized notes and gift to make us feel even more welcomed. I would definalty recommend staying here if your looking for a place in this area.

What a perfect location to stay in Watkins Glen! The cottage was exceptionally clean. The beds were comfortable. The views were exceptional with seating areas outside to soak it in. We dined each evening on the patio to soak in the weather with views. It is very close to town center with restaurants and shopping and easy access to the Watkin Glens waterfalls. We played golf at Soaring Eage and Mark Twain golf courses. We stopped and enjoyed a few of the local wineries. We visited the local town festival and viewed fireworks from the festival at the Tiki Bar down the street. We filled each day with adventure but the topping of each day was sitting out enjoying the views off the back porch! Highly recommend:)

Very warm, inviting home with beautiful lake views. Well stocked with kitchen, bath and bedroom items. Terrific coffee station! Walkable to town. We enjoyed hiking in Watkins State Park, wineries, lunch in the harbor, dinner on the lake and restaurants in town. Our stay was excellent. Felt right at home immediately. The beds were very comfortable. We only needed to make our breakfast and coffee for the day, otherwise we were out and enjoying the area and for us the Nascar race. But the kitchen met our needs very well.Sitting outside on the deck looking at the Lake and watching the Moon rise was beautiful. Also sitting around the fire, making our s'mores, laughing and joking.

This is a beautiful, charming house with breathtaking views of Lake Seneca. Julie is very organized, clean, and made settling in a breeze for my group. She even provided lots of information about local wineries and other things to do. We really enjoyed sitting outside on the patio while taking in the views. The house is very close to downtown, and we were able to walk there for dinner. I would definitely recommend staying here!

This home is absolutely lovely! The location is great -- beautiful view of Seneca Lake, lots of outdoor space with a deck, hammock, and fire pit. Our trip to Watkins Glen was made easy by Julie. Her home was so inviting a fully stocked with amenities beyond a normal VRBO. She even had a lovely welcome sign to greet us and responded promptly when we needed her even though the information was in the detailed notes she left for us. Gorgeous home and very comfy! This property is located within walking distance to a marina that has boat rentals, downtown and has breathtaking water views.The house is full of charm and character, it’s simply lovely.The host is organized, a great communicator and shared a lot around the best local flavors. Our group of 8 (FFL) had a great stay. Although there isn't direct water access the view makes up for it. Lovely setting and only a mile from downtown Watkins Glen .We enjoyed our Cycle Boat tour with great music, snacks and libation. Julie is a great host, bubbly and welcoming. Absolutely perfect home on the lake 3

Absolutely amazing stay! This lakehouse was the *perfect* spot for our girls’ July 4th weekend getaway. The views of Lake Seneca were truly breathtaking — whether we were enjoying morning coffee or winding down at night, the outdoor seating made it feel like a private retreat. The location couldn't be better: just minutes from downtown Watkins Glen but still peaceful and secluded enough to feel like an escape.The house itself was incredibly clean, spacious, and thoughtfully stocked with anything you could possibly need. Everything was clearly labeled and easy to find, which made settling in so smooth. Julie was a phenomenal host: super communicative, kind, and full of fantastic local recommendations for wineries, hikes, and restaurants. You can really tell how much care and effort she puts into making sure guests have a flawless experience.Couldn’t have asked for a better home base for our trip. Highly, highly recommend — we’re already talking about when we can come back!

Clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Everything was just as described in the listing. Julie provided information on restaurants and all the local attractions; she was the best host ever!
