'This is a wonderful little cabin in the middle of nowhere. We wanted to unwind and be away from it all for a bit. The night sky was incredible, we were able to track satellites moving across the sky, and saw a couple meteors. Fire pit was great as well!The cabin itself was very nice, very cozy, fully functional kitchen, comfortable bedding, and worked well for 3 of us. 'This trip was a surprise 40th birthday trip for my fiance. The house is absolutely beautiful! The wood stove inside is super cozy, the hammock swings outside are an amazing place to relax and read. If you want to unplug from the world and relax and recharge, the lazy bear is the place to go. The host was amazing at answering all our questions. We can't wait to come back. '

'Wish we could have stayed longer. This area is the only place my husband and I truly relax. House and location were excellent. My only complaint would be that the grass needed mowed. My chihuahua didn't like the grass touching her belly.'

'We had an absolute wonderful time! It was so relaxing and the descriptions were spot on. After reading the reviews, we brought our foam mattress cover for the bed and it made a big difference. The public fishing spot near the cabin is also a boat launch spot so we had some traffic while fishing but we still caught some fish! Rivers Edge is also on the corner lot so we felt it was very private and highly recommend! The hot tub was also a perfect touch. 10/10 vacation! Thanks Tony! '

'Loved staying at Jennifer’s house in the middle of the woods at Bryce Resort. So close to nature with deers and chipmunks around in the area. The house is spacious for a family of 5 with three teenage kids. All facilities where available to use and communicating with Jennifer was easy. Would highly recommend this house if you want to relax in the nature and explore this part of Virginia'

'My dog and I had such a good time relaxing at this mountain retreat! The drive up was beautiful and the property manager was excellent at communicating and checking in. The house manual is very in depth and helpful. There are a few other cabins near by but often its hard to tell. Sitting on the deck or screened in porch with a coffee and a book was my favorite activity. There were a few restaurants and an ice cream place within 15 or so minutes as well as a community store with firewood and...

'I celebrated my birthday with family & friends at the cabin — our stay was phenomenal!! The cabin was stocked with everything we needed for a weekend of fun. Coffee for breakfast, towels for the bathroom, there wasn’t a detail overlooked.The house is stunning, it looks even better in person! Very spacious & beautifully decorated.
