« Excellent communication throughout the process beginning with making reservations to checking out. The cabins were clean, staff friendly, lots of activities to do on site. The breakfast was amazing! I loved the fire pits setup. Highly recommend this place. It was close enough to Detroit Lakes and other towns that had activity available like the beach. »

« Sandy Pines is a beautiful little cabin. It was homey and comfortable, well-stocked, and very clean. We caught some fish in the lake, and spent an entire day on the pontoon on the lake. The owners are very friendly, and they have helpful little notes all over to help you navigate the cabin properly. We would definitely stay here again! »

« What a cozy, great place to stay. This was super close to where our family was staying. Wonderful to sit on little porch under overhang and enjoy the falling rain. Everything was there that was needed. Even chairs for the deck. All bedding was there. Beds were comfortable. And Lana (owner) messaged prior to our stay and for every question after she was immediately available. We felt safe and well taken care of. »

We had several college-age kids and teens in the bunkhouse which was a great private space for them to stay up late and sleep in away from parents and grandparents in the main house.
