Owners were friendly. The home was very clean when we arrived. Everything seemed brand new. The balconies were perfect to enjoy time outside. The beds were luxurious. Appliances were perfect. Directions regarding check in and out were easy to follow. The beach access was a few steps away with a locker full of beach items. We will be back!

We had a wonderfully relaxing stay! The unit is comfortable and well-stocked — the hosts really have thought of everything inside the unit, as well as with clear communication throughout our stay. The bay view from the balcony is a bonus, and proximity to the beautiful beach is awesome. We would happily book again.

Lovely view of the bay. Two spacious decks with lots of room for relaxation. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed for a family of six, includong an infant. Easy access to local attractions and the beautiful beach!

Spacious, comfortable, and well equipped bay side condo. The place needs some serious TLC. Hopeful the owner will do some updating and deep cleaning over the off season to bring the space up to par. Well established spider webs and profound amounts of mold made the balconies unusable.. which is a shame because the sunsets were beautiful. Our stay was hampered by an ant infestation getting into much of our food in the kitchen area and even making its way into our luggage that was placed in the closets and bedroom floors. Musty towels and bedding and stained mattresses.The building itself is showing its age in the sea air as well. Over half the grills on the pool deck were out of service. Hot tub broken. Swim up/snack bar is no longer in business and vacant. Fitness center shower plumbing removed. The host did communicate and apologize for the state of things. We would absolutely come back to the Sanctuary. As noted in previous reviews.. the check in process is a bit tricky.

We had a wonderful stay! The condo was spacious, clean, and well-stocked with plenty of towels. Kitchen seemed to be well stocked with kitchen utensils (though we did not cook). There are 2 restaurants in walking distance, both with different but equally tasty food (mexican and american). The condo is right over garage and parking spaces for the condo, which makes it very convenient to transfer luggage and option of using stairs vs waiting for an elevator. We especially enjoyed the beautiful views over the back bay after days on the beach, the weather was fresh in the evenings which made our stay on the balcony very enjoyable. We hope to be back next year!

Nice spacious condo. Check in was incredibly stressful and put a damper on the week. Owners instructions were not clear even though they said they were. They provided good info on parking and the garage but failed to indicate that, without the key fob we could not get into the facility from the garage. So there we were, unloaded, crying baby, hot, tired , dragging luggage all over the garage looking for a way in. Oh well. Won't be back to what turned out to be a nice condo.

There were some hiccups, but, overall our stay was great. The location is simply excellent. Lots of wonderful amenities (pools, gym, on the beach, etc). The condo has lots of space and everything you need for a great stay. And the hosts were very responsive and helpful. We just had a great stay!

Great trip to Sandbridge!

Just finished our weeklong stay and had a wonderful time. The location was perfect for pool and beach access, we had everything we needed, and the hosts were very responsive to any questions we had. Would definitely recommend!

Great place, plenty of room

The condo was a great place to stay with our wrestling team. There was plenty of room for everyone and even an air mattress. Parking was easy, access when we first arrived was direct with the instructions. The owners cared and reached out daily to make sure we were good. Definitely highly recommend staying.

Offseason Family Friendly Fun

Highly recommend for families! Great location right off the beach, close to good food venues (Baja’s!) and the park/playground. Quiet during our off season stay (November) but still had all the charm that we love about Sandbridge. Plenty of space for two families (4 adults, 4 kids) and all the comforts you’d need: kitchen, laundry, etc. Hosts were awesome and quickly responsive to questions or minor issues.

Great place - a little sparse!

Really enjoyed the location (very short walk to the beach and outdoor shower) and convenience of the unit within the building (1st floor right by the grills and pool). Plenty of space in the unit for all of us with 4 young kids. The kitchen was a little under-supplied for that many people - you pretty much have to do dishes with every meal if you’re cooking in, the dishwasher is very slow to cycle, and the washer is very loud (like you’re not sleeping with it running loud). Overall it was a great stay and the owners were very communicative and responsive. We’ll definitely look this up again next year!

Fabulous stay

We had a great time at our stay in Sandbridge at this unit. The sunset views from the balcony were a highlight for sure! The property owners were quick with communication and eager to help with whatever we needed. Overall a great week!

Condo was nice but facilities were run down

We were excited for our vacation in Virginia Beach, and thought based on the photos the the condo and facilities would have all the amenities to make our vacation great. Though the condo itself was very nice, the outside facilities left much to be desired and certainly were not as depicted in the pictures. First, the pool was not heated and closed at 8:00pm. The hot tub was closed and much of the concrete in pool area was covered in bird waste. The pictures online showed an adult pool with bar but the bar area looked like it hadn't been opened all season. It seems overall that the facility was rundown, which is not what we were expecting. The host was very responsive and easy to communicate and the condo nice. Based on the price and what the amenities actually were, compared to what was expected we would not stay here again.

Everything we were expecting & more! The owners were great with communication and even provided us with a list of activities and restaurants in the area which was a huge help. The check-in and check-out process was flawless and they even provide everything you need to get started which was a huge help since we were getting in late! Definitely recommend for families or friend groups!
