'The hotel is very comfortable and clean. The restaurant needs to be upgraded to match the hotel. The menu was extremely limited for dinners with too many items like pizza, flatbreads, tacos and hamburgers. The breakfast was sufficient but the food was clearly made from frozen to plate. Eggs tasted like boxed and hash browns were definitely not fresh!'

'The staff was a exceptional. Beach access was great. We only had two issues. One was cosmetic repairs - the ceiling had been repaired and the patched area was painted a slightly different color. They should have painted the entire ceiling. Also, there was some missing tile in bathroom and sloppy caulking around sink. The second issue was the mandatory valet parking. 'Clean rooms, very friendly staff. The breakfast was great. The location was easy access to the beach and had beautiful views. We also were able to walk to lunch and for mini golfing. Unfortunately our only complaint is the town enforced curfew where everyone had to be inside by 9pm. It was no fault of the hotel but it did make the hotel very loud Saturday night (it was quiet Sunday). The hotel itself was secure but we were definitely nervous. '

"This is a reasonable hotel in terms of price/quality ratio. The location is almost at the end of the boardwalk but the Virginia Beach shuttle stops right outside. The staff is very friendly and helpful, there were some things that were not right, when we arrived the indoor pool was not open, both washing machines were out of order (there were 4 brand new dryers in operation) and the sliding door to the balcony in our room we could only open by using a lot of force. We had a balcony with sea view on a high floor and the view was fantastic."
