We are Francesca and Marco (Official Hiking Guide for the Val Grande National Park), and we are delighted to welcome you to our spacious and bright two-room apartment, a little corner of peace nestled between the Val Grande National Park—the largest wilderness area in the Alps—and Lake Maggiore.
We look forward to welcoming you for a stay that combines nature and comfort.

OUR VACATION HOME
Our apartment is located in Trobaso, a hamlet of Verbania (Piedmont), just a stone’s throw from the National Park, and is housed in a historic late-19th-century building that retains all the charm of the era combined with a contemporary welcome. A spacious, bright, and quiet two-room apartment with parking, perfect for:
- Couples looking to relax or enjoy a romantic weekend
- Active travelers who love hiking and the outdoors

- Solo travelers wishing to recharge body and mind in nature

FULLY EQUIPPED KITCHEN
A kitchen equipped with everything you need: stovetop, oven, refrigerator, moka pot, kettle, toaster, dishes, and pots and pans—so you can prepare your own meals independently and with pleasure.

LIVING AREA
A spacious living room where you can relax after a hike in the park.
If you’d like to treat yourself to a special moment, you can book a relaxing massage in your apartment, performed by a professional therapist.

SLEEPING AREA
A comfortable bed and fresh linens for deep, restorative sleep. Ideal for those who want to sleep away from the hustle and bustle and wake up to the sound of birds singing.
(A queen-size sleeper sofa is also available in the living room, and upon request, an additional single bed can be set up in the living room as well)

PRIVATE BATHROOM
Featuring a spacious shower, hair dryer, complimentary toiletries, washing machine, and everything you need for a comfortable and independent stay.

The house is located in a quiet yet well-connected area, ideal as a starting point for exploring:
The Val Grande National Park, with trails, forests, breathtaking views, and hikes for all skill levels—from leisurely strolls to more adventurous treks
The San Bernardino River, with a bike path, picnic area, and barbecue, and natural beaches where you can cool off in the summer.
The beauty of Lake Maggiore: Verbania, Stresa, the Borromean Islands, Villa Taranto, and much more
The Verbano-Cusio-Ossola region, featuring alpine lakes, mountain huts, thermal spas, and quaint villages.
Just a few minutes’ walk or bike ride away, you’ll find all the main amenities: a supermarket, pharmacy, bakery, cafes, pizzerias, and restaurants.

One free parking space is available on-site

- Go TREKKING and HIKING in Val Grande Park on your own or with an official park guide for personalized excursions
- Rent an e-bike and explore scenic trails and roads
- Book some relaxation time: on-site massages
- Rent a boat for a tour of Lake Maggiore or visit the islands by ferry.
