'Unless you’re very desperate for a room i would keep driving. Absolutely filthy room. I used towels on the floor to walk from the bathroom to the bed and I used hand towels on the vanity to cover the surface. The smell in the hallway was of old cigarettes. I paid for two nights but only stayed one night. I forfeited the money as it wasn’t worth it to stay and be so uncomfortable.'

'We stayed in different rooms on April 29 and on May 1, 2026. The rooms seemed recently renovated. This is a no-frills accommodation: there are a little refrigerator and cups, but no coffee-maker. 'Nice that it was so close to the airport. Wish it had an indoor pool and hot tub but the outdoor ones were nice.'

'Flight left too early to get breakfast. Hotel shuttle was smooth. Fine for an airport overnight, but would not stay for vacation. Hallway carpet and room doors were in need of maintenance. Happened to get an ADA room, which I would use shower shoes for. For the price, pretty much what I expected, but I expected more based on number of Expedia stars. Stayed at a different hotel earlier in the week with the same 9.0 review and Country Inn & Suites was a big step down.'

'I witnessed the manager verbally abuse one of the workers there. The water to the building was shut off so I couldn't take a shower or flush the toilet at all. To top it off the lights were flickering and the outlet by the mirror wasn't working. It wasn't the gfci either incase anyone needed to know. Also traffic to get in was a nightmare plus having to pay for parking. Other than that the experience was fine. Really could have used a shower considering I paid for a room and amenities I wasn't...

'The building is an early Portland mansion that’s been maintained well and upgraded to some extent, keeping the charm of the era in which it was built but meeting the standards of today. Our king room with an en suite was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was a do-it-yourself affair with many simple choices, including fruit, yogurt, fresh pastries, and cereals.
