Kaas Pathar (or plateau) is a UNESCO World natural heritage site located near Satara. At the end of every monsoon, the fields come alive with more than 850 different species of flowers.

This is the valley of flower of Maharashtra. The whole plateau is barren throughout the year and is filled with flower towards the end of Indian monsoon. The lush #green landscapes and the colorful flowers is a sight to behold.

We had a lovely comfortable stay. The Arabian villa comprises of 2 large villas and cottage rooms. We stayed in family room in a cottage for 4 persons. The villa is for larger groups of 15+ people.
