'Stayed there between summer and ski season. Excellent value. Not particularly crowded. Easy drive to lakeside on the quieter north side. Staff helpful and friendly. At the foot of the ski runs literally at the base of the mountains. And on the edge of a great golf course. '

They took advantage of the piano as well such a beautiful touch to this comfy place. Overall we felt safe and Kay was available for anything we needed. 'A nice and more affordable option for those visiting North Lake Tahoe. The Granlibakken has an old-school Tahoe vibe, which can be both charming and dated. This particular room, while checking all the boxes, definitely has a bit of "staying the night at Grandma's house) vibe. Furniture is fully functional, but could use an upgrade. Overall, would stay again for the price, but would enjoy it more with a little refresh.'

'The condominium complex is very nice. The view from the patio, relaxing in the chairs was our favorite part. The condo was pretty clean, but the bathroom has seen better days. My biggest issue with the place was the bed, it was very uncomfortable and the futon couch in the living room wasn’t comfortable and had some issues. If they updated the bed and the couch, it would be a much better place to stay.'

'Very short stay, wish we could have enjoyed the place and area more. I do wish both bedroom were queen size beds as the twin beds were too small for my daughter and tall boyfriend. My queen bed was very comfortable. '

"Fantastische locatie ook in de zomer! Bestel geen taxi via het hotel, we kwamen terecht in onze gevaarlijkste rit ooit. En graag duidelijkheid bij check in over housekeeping hoe en of wat. Wij werken het hele jaar en vinden het fijn dat dingen geregeld zijn of worden"

"Unfortunately, the pool area was very disappointing. More than half of the sun loungers were completely broken: either the seat or the backrest was damaged and unusable. The covers of the parasols were scattered around the pool area and simply thrown onto the broken loungers, which made the space look very neglected. Only one lounger had a cushion available, which is far from sufficient for guests who want to relax by the pool. I strongly recommend that the hotel invest in new, sturdy sun loungers and remove all the broken ones, it’s really not a pleasant sight. It would also be great if guests could receive a proper-sized pool towel instead of the very small towels currently provided, which are far too small to lie on comfortably. This would really improve the pool experience for future guests."
