'The good: Old town is in walking distance, rooms are clean, free parking is abundant. The bad: breakfast buffet is disappointing, hotel is certainly older than most (seems very dated), not even a bottle of complimentary water for guests which is standard in onther hotels (even at NH-group).'

'We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Colón. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the location is perfect—just a short walk from the train station. ​A special shoutout to Oscar (I think he was the manager), who went above and beyond for us. When other reception staff told us it wasn't possible to book a taxi and that Uber wasn't an option, Oscar stepped in and personally handled it for us. 'Heerlijke douche.'

'Hotel was netjes, alleen jammer dat het midden in de stad ligt waardoor er gedurende de nacht heel veel overlast was van het rumoer op de straat. Nadeel is ook dat er geen parkeerplaats aanwezig is, hierdoor dus gedwongen openbare parkeergarage te gebruiken: prijskaartje € 18. Wij zullen dus in de toekomst geen gebruik meer maken van dit hotel.'
