The air conditioner wasn’t running in the unit when I arrived so it took a while for the room to cool down. I understand it saves money and I could have packed my stuff back up and moved rooms but it just seems like better customer service to run that air even if it’s turned up a few degrees.

The only detractors for me were there was no coffee maker in room and no mini fridge. Other than that it was clean and very well appointed and the location is extremely close to all main travel arteries. Check in staff was great.

In all my years of travelling across north america, this was the sketchiest place Ive ever stayed by a country mile. After listening to a domestic violence situation, had to leave at 2 am. And this was only one of several within earshot.

I expected a bare bones no frills experience, because the rate was so cheap. Yes, it did not have a blowdryer, fridge or microwave, but it was comfortable, clean, perfect temperature, good coffee, and very friendly and helpful staff. There was no surprise fee for bringing our rescue pitty, and they loved on her as if she was theirs. Very positive experience! I will definitely stay at a Red Roof again!

Our room was 87’ upon walking in Had to open window and put air conditioner on in February The fire detector was beeping and the front desk requested me to take it off the ceiling and remove battery I had to get on chair and bed 2x because it was hard wired Bathroom was small very small and when going into the bathroom at night found what looked like little sugar ants crawling around on the floor.

Room was hot and did not cool down quickly but I was able to get to sleep okay. The smoke detector was out of the wall and missing its 9 volt battery (really, someone needed a 9 volt battery that desperately?) but the staff person quickly came up and fixed it. Room was otherwise clean and convenient.
