'Probably one of the coziest VRBO stays we've had, this really did feel like a home away from home. My preteen loved the train line down the street (we came in on the Amtrak trains; it's a 10-15 minute walk to the actual station in town), but I don't recall ever hearing any train noise; it was a very quiet stay for us. 'The house itself is beautifully decorated, and well stocked! My young children loved running around the home exploring all the rooms and finding all the fun things there were to discover, like a jacuzzi tub (not a hot tub like the description says), puzzles, a tent, and fun outdoor games! The kitchen had everything we needed, and even had a grill with all the appropriate grilling tools. 'This was a really nice property & we had a fun stay. Unfortunately, there were a few things that weren’t expected. The master bed was broken so it wasn’t sleepable but they did fix it on our last night after they were notified. The dishwasher didn’t work after a couple of days, but they were supposed to fix that as well. The biggest concern was the main bathroom shower that was very slick and a bit scary to take a shower in because of that. But all in all, it’s a beautiful house and property and...

'We had such a wonderful stay. This house was perfect and felt spacious for our family of four, plus two Shih Tzus. Our favorite area was the screened in patio with the hot tub- it was an awesome way to start and end each day. When we realized how close we were to Chicago (1 hr, 25 mins), we decided to do a Chicago day and drove out for a riverboat cruise. It was awesome being able to easily make a day of that.All around, wonderful stay.'

'My friends and I stayed for 2 nights and had a wonderful time throughout our trip. The house was clean and well managed upon arrival, and check in was very smooth. Throughout the reservation process and after the hosts were very responsive and hospitable.
