'Upon arrival, we were greeted by our lovely hosts Chris and Tina. Chris kindly showed us to our Valentina tent for our 3 day stay. The tent was beautifully appointed and had a super comfy bed. Our separate kitchen area had a basket of goodies, which we felt was such a personal touch. The llamas were amazing, roaming freely outside our tent. 'Good basic accommodation to rear of pub. Convenient for food and helpful access from parking along road to rear. Some basics missing for self catering breakfast even if only with a microwave and toaster - such as tea towel, washing up brush'

'Expectations exceeded reality. Initially the astetics of arriving at the pub/hotel looked promising and the ambiance of the bar area pleasent with polite reception staff.The room (4) was at first site ok, but a more detailed look revealed a more dirty aspect and not as expected. The windows slatted blind very dusty, corner of the bathroom by the door, grime. Black mold in the shower around the metal shelf, the shower head holder broken and loosy fitted the drooping shower head. Under the bed...

'Staff were helpful on arrival.room/suite was very big. Bigger than my first flat! Whilst it had charm it was clearly an old building and it needs a little tlc but that said, it was clean and excellent value. I would stay again.'

'Good location and room was clean and spacious with nice decor. The hotel is not air conditioned and we had to have the curtains pulled most of the time to keep the sun and heat out. The room was much warmer than the rest of the hotel and it was pretty difficult to sleep. The garden is a real benefit but could do with repairs and proper maintenance and care. The attractive sleigh bed in the room was comfortable but the legs stuck out into the room and I managed to break my little toe on one. ...

'I don't like heating in my room, call me crazy. So the owner was kind enough to turn it off (central) and let me open the windows. '
