This charming house has the best views from the back porch and the 2nd story master porch. The pool was great to lounge by in view of the mountains. The house was well kept and located near all that the Oro Valley has to offer. The hosts had fast communication, and we would definitely stay there again.

Weekend trip

It was a great time, the property was just like the pictures. It was very clean very good area. The communication with the host was very easy. We really enjoyed the pool and the view at night from the balcony. Definitely coming back!

Great place!

The pool was so refreshing on the 100 degree days. The upper porch had beautiful views of Tucson at night and wonderful mountain views during the day. Great location close to shopping and downtown Tucson.

Stayed during March 2024. Home was clean, and everything worked. We did have an issue with the door locking mechanism and the owner responded quickly and solved the problem. The house heated quickly. Did not use the air conditioner. Quiet neighborhood. This is about our sixth VRBO that we have stayed at and compared to all the others this home lacked amenities that we came to expect from renting from VRBO. For example, we had enough towels for the two of us but nothing extra. Only one kitchen towel was provided and no towels for the bath on the main floor. Detergent pods were provided but no dryer sheets or softener. The projection TV was a nice unique touch. We did not use the pool; too cool, the pool maintenance people tried their best to keep the pool clean. We came to expect when renting from VRBO such items as an umbrella, extension cords, tissues, local information and plenty of seasonings in the kitchen but here only the very basics were provided by the owners. The furniture was basic, the kitchen table was small if you had 6 people and the furniture could use updating. Finally, we must mention the view from both the back porch and upstairs veranda. It was a magnificent view of the Catalina Mountains and the arroyo right below us. I discovered a walking trail that goes through the arroyo and right in back of the house. Overall, we felt that we did not get the value for what we paid during this stay compared to the other VRBOs we have stayed at.

Excellent Property for a Family Trip!

This home has a lovely desert view in a quiet neighborhood, and is very comfortable. The furnishings were simple, but adequate for our needs - this might be why the price is so VERY reasonable when compared with similar properties. We had one minor issue with the upstairs TV - their technician came over at our convenience and the problem with quickly solved. The owners seem to be very kind and accommodating people - we'd definitely rebook should we find ourselves in the area again.

Peaceful desert retreat

The property is located in a typical residential neighborhood and was close to grocery stores and other shopping. The views from the back deck and pool area did not disappoint. The owners go to great lengths to ensure that their guests understand the entire process of checking in, checking out and house rules. Everything in the house is clearly labeled. The layout was great as all bedrooms were upstairs allowing for a good amount of privacy. Beds were very comfortable and appeared to be high quality memory foam. The only drawback was the furniture throughout the house. The dining table and chairs seemed more appropriate for children and the upstairs deck only had a small camp style table with two very small and flimsy folding chairs. Outdoor furniture by the pool was limited so only two people could sit, but comfortable overall. There is no outdoor grill so plan meal prep accordingly. We did enjoy our stay as the location really made the trip memorable.

Disappointment

Starting with positive the home was well stocked and marked as to where everything was. However, the house looked tired. The furniture was old, as was the decor. Christmas decorations were still up in March. The beds were uncomfortable, and the tub/shower combos had anti-slip tape on the bottom which made taking baths also highly uncomfortable. The rug going up the stairs and upstairs looked dirty and old, and we believe may have caused some allergy issues. There was limited outdoor furniture, and it too was old and not in great shape. It was listed there was no BBQ/grill which was a true miss when booking a house.

Clean, quiet, convenient

I stayed at this home with three friends for a five-day golf trip. The house is located in a very quiet, safe, centrally located Oro Valley neighborhood -- easy access to groceries, restaurants and the greater Tucson area where we were playing golf each day. The owners were very responsive and thorough, which made the entire process very easy. It was a chilly week in Tucson so we didn't use the pool. However, we really enjoyed the mountain views from the house!

Comfortable and Inviting

The hosts are attentive, friendly, and professional. Instant communications, which made things so easy and flowing with our booking and stay. The home is super clean, very well equipped, and relaxing. Stayed in winter, so no swimming for us!..lol. But the pool was sparkling clean like the rest of the property. The views from the master are beautiful. Rainy while we were there, so we had fun watching the big screen projector in the Living room and had a cozy relaxing time. Our 2 puppies loved their getaway too! Just the 2 of us and our puppies, so much of the house went unused, great house for family and/or lots of guests. Thanks to Karen & Tiffany for a great stay :-)

Copper Canyon Retreat

The property was in a great location for shopping, eating on restaurants, and golfing. It was raining so we were not able to utilize the pool during our stay. The garage was a nice feature to keep our cycling hear and SUV stored. My husband and sons enjoyed the TV projector screen in the loving room to watch movies.

Beautiful Views

The house is in a great location in Oro Valley. It is in the suburbs, and the back pool area faces the mountains and a hiking area that is filled with birds. There is also a deck off of the main bedroom. Sitting by the pool and enjoying the scenery was the highlight of our trip. One day, the temps rose to 109F, and we were glad to have the pool. Luckily, our dog was not interested in the pool as dogs are not allowed. The beds were comfortable and all the rooms were very clean. The living room is comfortable, and we enjoyed the large screen projector. The kitchen was well appointed and all the drawers were labeled which was great! So thoughtful! The house is close to Catalina State Park which we loved. We also visited Saguaro National Park, and we took our dog for a nice walk to the botanical gardens. Had great Sonoran Mexican food at La Hacienda. Everything is close by. We were really comfortable here, and we definitely recommend this place!

Quiet and Relaxing

We loved staying at this house for 2 nights. The property is lovely with the Mountain View and the wildlife seen just beyond the fence. Bring your binoculars for observing the wildlife. The pool was wonderful to relax in. Bring something for floating in if you want. They provide a couple of pool noodles and other random items for the pool. We brought our own float. The property owners even labeled where everything is located in each cabinet or closet for easy finding. This is the first time I have seen anyone do this. It was a great idea on their part! They stocked the house with most everything you need. Thank you all for a wonderful stay and we would love to stay again if we are ever in the area.

Terrific home away from home

The house and its amenities were a nice retreat for a short vacation. The patio, pool, and balcony are ideal for relaxing any time of day and enjoying mountain views. Our hosts were very responsive and welcoming. Would stay here again!
