Cabanes à Tryon

« The property was perfect for my solo rest trip. I felt safe and comfortable. The tub in front of the fireplace was perfection. And the screened in back porch was delightful for reading and listening to the rain. »

« As many other reviews have stated, the Shaded Crest is a real gem of a place with wonderful hosts. The cabin was perfect for our stay both inside and out with the other facilities including the pool and spa which were welcome in very hot weather. Everything was spotless and the hosts were not just very welcoming helpful but passed on some great advice for our onward travel. The only downside is that we only had one night there! »

« We stayed here for one night. There were definitely some positives. Communication was quick, and the location was nice. It felt tucked away from everything while still being convenient to Saluda, Hendersonville, and the mountains. The overall concept and setup of the cabins is a great idea. Unfortunately, the actual experience didn’t quite live up to what we expected from the listing. The bath water never got very warm, and there was a drinking water purifier provided, but it wasn’t hooked up....

« What a view! My Wife and I Loved it . Cozy cabin was perfect for us. »

« Fully furnished kitchen with good quality cookware (no Teflon), close to grocery store, Lake Lure, and a lovely private backyard and screened-in porch. Every detail from closet hangers, luggage rack, beach towels, and toiletries were provided. One of the best places I've every stayed! »

« This place is super cute and exactly as advertised. Our little family had an excellent time. We used the spa facilities and bathhouse. All were clean and well maintained. We had a little trouble finding our cabin at first but other than that we were very happy with our choice. »

« The canvas cabin was basically brand new as were all the furnishings. Same for the entire facility. Everything was clean and new. It was a nice glamping place. I was worried about heat, since it was about 50 degrees. The space heater worked like a champ. I stayed there to bicycle the Hincapie Gran Fondo about 3 miles away at Hotel Domestique. It was a quick and easy commute. The camp store and bathroom facilIty was also basically brand new and very nice. »

« Property was very nice. I loved the layout of the home and the bathtub was amazing. Only downfall was the WiFi. It was spotty and slow. I was hoping to get some work done but had to admit defeat. Overall great place and I hope to stay again. »

« this cabin, although it's from the 1930s has an older feel - it really reminds you of a settlers cabin. It's very comfortable and very clean. The host of wonderful and respond promptly to any questions you may have. The outside area is very private, surrounded by Rhododendron, and the patio furniture is nice! I'll definitely consider booking this place again for the fall to enjoy the colors! »

« We had a great 1 night stay in the corn crib unit of this property. It was extremely peaceful. We only stayed 1 night and had to leave early in the morning to continue our travels but we wish we could have stayed longer. The sauna was a pleasant experience and the shower/bathroom building was the cleanest I had ever seen from a camping type set up. Would stay again and definitely recommend others stay. »
