A private mountain cabin on Red Mountain Pass - all-inclusive meals included, hosted on-site, and built to make the logistics disappear. You book the whole cabin for your group (sleeps 8). Big views, private hideaway, and high-alpine access without the crowds.



Location

Right on Red Mountain Pass between Silverton (20mins south) and Ouray (30mins north). Close enough for a town day, far enough to feel like you disappeared into the San Juans.



The cabin

• 1,500 sq ft single-story cabin + loft (3 bedrooms / 1 bathroom)

• Sleeps up to 8 (Bunkroom: 4 XL twins • Master: 1 king • Loft: 1 queen)

• High-alpine setting at 11,200 ft, surrounded by public land



All-inclusive, chef-prepped meals (included in the nightly rate)



Travel light: we do the cooking, using high-quality natural and organic ingredients. We’ll do our best to accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences (include notes when you book).

Privacy + hosting

Your host/chef is on-site the entire stay (in separate sleeping quarters — not in your cabin space). You’ll have full privacy, with real support when you need it.



Getting here (summer)

You can drive right to the cabin, but it’s a mountain approach: AWD/4WD required. The final approach includes a 0.5-mile 4x4 road.



Winter note (important)

In winter, access requires a mandatory 0.5-mile over-snow approach via skis/splitboard with skins or snowshoes, and guests must carry avalanche safety equipment (beacon, shovel, probe).



Winter-only: children must be 7+.



Showers (quick heads up)

No indoor showers due to limited water. In summer, there’s an outdoor camp-style shower.



Pets

Up to 2 pets allowed. Pets may not be left unattended; pet food isn’t included.
