Weekend getaway

My family and I had a wonderful time at this cabin. Very clean and cozy home that had everything we needed for our weekend away. We fished, used the kayaks, swam, enjoyed the hot tub, barbecued and had an all around great family weekend. Any time we had questions the owner was quick to respond and there are so many staples around the house that show they care about your comfort and want you to stay again.

So relaxing

This was a hidden gem!!! Our stay was so relaxing! We visited the local winery that was only 5 minutes away. This home was also relaxing. Thank you for a great weekend. Also fishing off the dock was great.

Spring Break

We had a really good time at this home for our spring break. The kids really enjoyed going out on the water, fishing and the hot tub! The house is very well maintained. I would highly recommend this home to anyone!

Great getaway

Booked for girls getaway for my daughters 18 bday ! We absolutely enjoyed our stay , it was very peaceful and had great amenities. The girls loved watching the projector tv while they were soaking all their worries away in the hot tub, enjoyed smores at the fire pit and had dinner on the deck . All together I highly recommend this hideaway for anyone looking to get away for acouple of days. The host was one of the nicest I have had from any of my previous stays at other locations and I really appreciated her service . We will definitely be booking another trip in the future.

Perfect Friendsmas

Best friend annual staycation - short drive from DFW to a peaceful cottage on the lake. House was precious, clean, and the communicaiton was 100%. Ruby even put up a Christmas tree for us! Thanks again - we can't wait to come back.

Great mom's getaway

We really enjoyed staying in the house. Its an adorable little cottage that had everything we needed to unwind and relax. The hot tub was great in the evenings, the kayaks were fun during the day. If I had to say one negative thing, it would be that the water level was very low. But obviously that is not something the owners can control. It just made it a little difficult to get down to the kayaks, but other than that it was a perfect place to stay.

Can’t wait to go back!

Stayed here over the 4th of July holiday with my family. It was our first blended family getaway and we had such a fabulous time. This place is a gem and right by the water. We loved being able to kayak out and enjoy the water. The beds are super comfortable. Layout is perfect for lounging around and big enough we could also have alone time if needed. The kitchen is stocked with pretty much all the items we needed to stay in and cook for ourselves. We LOVED having the ability to play music in the bathroom. The host is super sweet and responsive for any questions we had. Cannot wait to go back.

Perfect getaway!

Our stay here was great! An otherwise hot Texas day felt cool and breezy sitting out next to the water. Everything was clean and the attention to detail to ensure our visit was welcome was not lost on me. We had plenty of space and the beds were comfortable, and we slept great. Having the washer and dryer was great after a day of kayaking and working up a sweat. The kitchen was tidy and had everything we needed including grilling utensils. Everything had a place and a label. The fridge was spotless as well, which I’ve found is rare for lake houses this time of year. The bathroom was spotless and the shower had great water pressure. Not to mention the built in Bluetooth speaker in the ceiling was super cool! We relaxed on the decks in the evening and and enjoyed the hot tub at night. We were able to watch a movie from the hot tub on the outdoor projector so that was pretty cool. The different decks in the back were awesome, you can sit at the house or down by the water. Either way is very relaxing. Neighborhood was quiet and check in and out was super straight forward. The owners were very responsive and friendly with any questions or concerns we had. We look forward to booking here again!

Cozy and comfortable

This property is beautifully remodeled. It has luxury and lots of thoughtful personal touches. The hot tub and outside spaces are great. I saw hummingbirds on the deck, ducks and a beautiful black cat (at a distance). The Hideaway house has everything you need for a comfortable relaxing stay.

My parents loved it!

Booked for my parents. They absolutely loved it! Owner thought of everything you would need. My kids loved playing on the kayaks when we visited during the day and my parents loved drinking their coffee on the back patio every morning! House was decorated so cute, and my Dad specifically said he appreciated how nice and sturdy the furniture was!

Fantastic Hideaway House

Our family had a wonderful time staying at the Hideaway House. The owners of this home 🏡 have taken time to think about every detail. After arriving to a very clean and air conditioned home, we went out on the kayaks to explore the lake. Beautiful quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. The evening was spent in the jacuzzi, watching our favorite family movie đŸŽ„ on the patio. We taught our kids to play Backgammon on a board game provided. The kitchen was supplied with lots of “extras” and we were very pleased and comfortable. Great find. We will definitely be returning. Deep gratitude and thanks to the owners.

Everything You’ll Need

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at this lake front house. It had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed using the paddle boards and kayaks during the day and relaxing in the hot tub while watching a movie in the projector at night. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to feed the kids and a nice coffee bar for the adults. The host was quick to reply when we reached out to them and were very friendly. We highly recommend this place for family and friends to enjoy the lake. We look forward to booking it again for our next visit.
