'Ruime woonst, mooi ingericht in de stijl van weleer ! Kasteelwaardig ! Zeer rustig gelegen. Mooie uitvalsbasis om met gehuurde e-bikes langs Le Cher en La Loire kastelen te bezoeken.'

'We visited Le Clos de Venise 4 years ago and decided to come this year back to celebrate our wedding anniversary as we love the place and its gracious and kind hostesses Francine and Claude. It felt like coming home again. We can warmly recommend the accommodation to anyone. Despite the ongoing struggle with Covid and its variants, we knew we would feel safe here as it is away from the main village road and therefore away from people but not too far so you still feel like part of the community:...

'This was the most cosy and well equipped house we ever stayed in! So much care was taken to ensure we had everything we needed! Very tastefully renovated in a quiet little hamlet, near many, very beautiful places! We visited lots of them: castles of Ussé, Chinon, Azay, l'Islette, a true gem! A week wasn't long enough! We were only with the 2 of us but if you come with more people, take note that there is only one bedroom with a door and that you have to pass the (very beautiful) open space with...

'Een mooie omgeving.. in het huis is alles aanwezig om een goed verblijf te hebben.. zorg wel zelf voor een internet bundel op je telefoon of tablet. Want internet is er niet. Wij hadden wat moeite met de bank.. die is wat laag.. maar wij zijn beide best wel lang. We hebben heerlijk buiten gezeten en genoten van de rust. Meneer Bertrand is erg aardig en vriendelijk. En kan je wat tips geven over de omgeving.'

'A very spacious property both inside and out. Very well equipped, and appearing to be further developed. Very good kitchen, bbq and outside areas and a rather quirky inside layout. Lots of space for families with children. We had an issue at one point and the owners, who are charming people, were very quick to respond and to try and sort things out. The pool, of course, is excellent, particularly as we had extremely hot weather.'

'We hadden een prima verblijf in het vakantiehuis in Avoine. De gastvrijheid van de gastheer en -vrouw waren geweldig. Zij stonden steeds ter onze beschikking indien nodig. De ligging is prima, kort bij winkels en de bezienswaardigheden in de buurt.'
