  • We look forward to hosting you, your family and friends. Our goal is to provide you with a comfortable space and guide you on the many things to do in the Poconos all year round. Our small team at HarmonySTR (Natalie, Shantie, Drew and Eric) are looking forward to providing you a 5 Star Stay.

Cool house and location

We had our annual VRBO vacation at Owl's Nest and really enjoyed the area and the house. There were a few issues, but communication with Eric and Natalie was great. We saw lots of wildlife and really enjoyed the huge deck.

Great for two families

We enjoyed our stay here with our kids and our friends with their kids-9 total. Beds were comfortable, accommodations were cozy, the pool table was a hit, we loved drinking leisurely coffee til noon on that shaded back porch and enjoyed a beautiful summer day at the club amenities ($12/person extra) where we took out kayaks, enjoyed mini golf, swam in the lake and the pool!

Cabin was clean, easily accessible and the amenities made it SO worth it! We didn’t leave the property for anything. Me and my family used everything available, the pools in the area were very big, and accommodating.. Overall an amazing experience. We would stay here again!

Great house! Lots to do! Love the location! Would go back for sure! Hosts were very accommodating and full of great info! Love having a drink on back deck overlooking woods! All the games were great with the teens too!

Owls Nest-vacation stay

Really wonderful experience. The house was well stocked, clean and visitor friendly. Had no issues. Hosts were responsive and helpful. The whole family had a memorable time. Adding a mirror in rooms may be something to consider. Highly recommend The Owl’s Nest.

Oh, We'll be back!!

The home is AMAZING!! My family and I (All 8 of us...) had an amazing time! We had everything we needed, and was even surprised to find things we assumed wasn't available (hello, grill seasonings!!). The surprises continued as we grilled on the last night and discoveted a tree house nearby (!!!!)!! Me and my 30+ year old sister squealed like children and planned to definitely come back in the summer. Well done, Owl's Nest!

Peaceful and relaxing house in a great location

The house was on a beautiful property and in a great location. The children were entertained inside and outside the house. You can walk through the backyard forest straight to the basketball courts, tennis courts and playground. It was an 8 minute drive to Tobyhanna state park with boating, fishing and swimming available. The hosts were easy to reach and quick to respond. The house was mostly clean except for the oven which was pretty dirty. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great house

The house is spacious, clean and renovated with tennis table and foosball table game. Short driving distance (5min) to the lake and pool. Walking distance (3min) to kids play ground and tennis court. The owner provided tennis rackets and balls set, basketball and soccer balls, and games for kids. The owners are receptive, clear with instructions and organized. Our family enjoyed the stay and hope to come back soon!

Great property

This property is a great value, lots of other properties in the area are more expensive and are not nearly as nice. This house was super spacious with four bedrooms and would sleep quite a few people. Much larger than we needed but we loved it. Decor was wonderful. We loved meeting Otto the owl. We enjoyed coming back in the evening and being able to enjoy a game of pool, or ping pong or darts or foosball. When you say in a hotel it seems like you just come back to the room and lay down and watch TV, here there is plenty of things to do to keep busy and the evening. We had a fire and were able to sit out and enjoy the outdoors. We had a wonderful moment with a mother deer and her fawn. As we sat by the fire the two deer stood about 10 ft away from us for about 10 minutes and we just sat there and watch them and they watched us. It was magical. Also there is a wonderful basketball court and playground right behind the property with a path that goes down to lake. This was great for walking the dog. Speaking of the dog, I thought it was wonderful that they had a set of dog dishes sitting in the kitchen ready for her. We brought ours thinking we would need them but they had already thought of our four-legged family member. Would highly recommend this property to anyone. Great location close to town but far enough away where you don't feel like you're sitting right in town. There are neighbors but the property has enough trees where you get privacy.

Everything is great and it is as per the listing, property photos speak how well it is maintained. Secured and good community. 3 min drive from Tobyhanna State Park. Host is always reachable, and great communication with Host.

Comfy home & great communication with property owners!

Very comfortable home that backed up to trees and basketball, tennis & playground areas. Lots of deer in the neighborhood, which was fascinating for the kids but very confusing for the dogs, lol. Easy to get to Tobyhanna State Park for kayaking and hiking. We took day trips over to the waterparks and shopping in Tannersville. In the evenings, we loved the pool table, darts, ping pong, deck, etc. Natalie was very good with communications before and during the stay - She reached out with lots of recommendations for the local area and quickly answered any questions we had. Thanks for a great visit to the Poconos!

The Owls Nest was a great place to stay.!There was plenty of room and the home had enough activities to keep the kids busy in the evenings, with a pool table and ping pong. Eric and Natalie were very responsive .They answered all my questions and made the process very easy.

We elected to only stay one night as we were very disappointed in the facilities. See my email communication on Saturday for details.. Communication with Eric and follow up went as well as could be expected. He was responsive to our concerns and provided a small refund.
