The room is ok. But the WiFi in my room doesnโt work for the whole week. I reported it 3 times but finally gave up, because the front desk staff was trying to give me random answers. I believe they donโt have an internal IT person to help troubleshooting and they donโt want to pay for an external technician to help me. The ridiculous reason they gave me was โsome constructions are going on outside by the telecommunications company and the relevant satellite communication is affected.โ If you are an engineer like me, youโll realize how ridiculous this answer is. I further asked them โif the communication carrier causes this, how come your desktop still have internet?โ She said with a confident tone โbecause I used a physical cableโ. She doesnโt know that WiFi also uses the same cable. I believe some of the WiFi routers are broken or simply need reboot. Over the days, I found that WiFi in different parts of the hotel may still work when it doesnโt work in my room. Again, they need to hire a technical/IT person. And the staff need to be trained not to make stuff up on subjects they donโt know.
