Blokhutten in Timberville

'Honestly, I don’t even know where to start. It was such a wonderful and peaceful stay!! The cabin had everything anyone could possibly need to feel at home from the utensils and cookware to the snacks, bottled water and fresh towels. I have traveled and stayed at several places and I have to tell you this is one of my favorites! It is definitely a gem!! Thank you so much for welcoming me and for being such gracious hosts! I would also like to give a special thank you to Paige, 😊who was a...

'Immaculate. From cleanliness, to a helpful host, to the overall environment. The Jacuzzi was very relaxing and view was stunning. Would recommend and would visit again!'

'My wife and I spent 5 nights at this cabin from 6/27-7/2 of 2026. The first thing I will say about this cabin is the view is second to none. The only thing you see off the back deck is a stunning mountain range. We watched the moon rise over this range every single night and it was breathe taking. The cabin was very clean, the kitchen was more than adequately stocked with silverware, dishes and grilling supplies. We utilized the grill once which worked perfectly. The stove multiple times with no...

'We had a wonderful stay at this cabin and would gladly return. The check-in process was incredibly easy, and the instructions provided were clear and detailed, making everything seamless from the moment we arrived. The cabin was spotless and very well maintained. It had everything we needed for a comfortable, relaxing stay. The host was exceptionally communicative, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay, which made us feel welcomed and taken care of. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub each...

'We stayed at blue mapme cabins before, and have had a good experience so far. Unfortunately this one disappointed us, for 2 main reasons. The WiFi, which is specifically advertised in the title of the listing, was unusable most of the time, which made it difficult to impossible to work. And the cleanliness, since it's in the forest there are many insects, which is expected, the issue is that the front window has large gaps that can't be closed, causing the main room to be filled with large and...

'This was the perfect quaint cabin for a weekend getaway from the DC area. Carly and Garrett were very communicative before and during the stay (making it very easy to know exactly how to check in and check out), and provided pretty much anything you could need. We enjoyed the fire pit, hot tub, and the covered porch, and the cabin was the perfect balance of remote yet accessible (not too far from the highway). Would absolutely return and recommend!'

'Wonderful place to stay! Be prepared to be on the top of the world with a beautiful view. Kitchen has everything you need. Beds are comfy and living area is perfect for a cozy stay and visit.'

'This is the second time we’ve stayed with this host and had equally charming and wonderful experience. The host is extremely kind and responsive. The property photos perfectly depict the idyllic sunset and cozy cabin vibes. The cabin was clean, the bed was comfortable and the fire place was perfect for a cozy rainy evening in. The listing also accurately described the hilly gravel roads up into the property, our CRV managed just fine. The bugs were out and about while we were on the deck...
