'This was the most cosy and well equipped house we ever stayed in! So much care was taken to ensure we had everything we needed! Very tastefully renovated in a quiet little hamlet, near many, very beautiful places! We visited lots of them: castles of Ussé, Chinon, Azay, l'Islette, a true gem! A week wasn't long enough! We were only with the 2 of us but if you come with more people, take note that there is only one bedroom with a door and that you have to pass the (very beautiful) open space with...

'We stayed for two weeks in this beautiful house. If you are really looking for a quiet location where the birds are the only sound you hear, then this is the best place to be. The very old house has been wonderfully converted by Nigel into a beautiful place to stay. You have a huge garden at your disposal where you can always find a place to rest or be active from morning to night. Nigel and Sandra, as owners and neighbors, keep a modest background but are ready to help you if you ask for it....

'Bei unserer Ankunft sind wir herzlich begrüßt worden. Das Ferienhaus ist sehr schön eingerichtet und ist ideal für eine Familie mit 2 Kindern. Es verfügt über 2 Terrassen und an kühleren Tagen kann gern der Kamin benutzt werden. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut: Küche, Wohnzimmer, Bad und Schlafzimmer bieten alles für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen sehr gerne wieder. Das Haus liegt in einem ruhigen Wohngebiet; in das Zentrum sind es ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß....

'Een mooie omgeving.. in het huis is alles aanwezig om een goed verblijf te hebben.. zorg wel zelf voor een internet bundel op je telefoon of tablet. Want internet is er niet. Wij hadden wat moeite met de bank.. die is wat laag.. maar wij zijn beide best wel lang. We hebben heerlijk buiten gezeten en genoten van de rust. Meneer Bertrand is erg aardig en vriendelijk. En kan je wat tips geven over de omgeving.'

'De dorpswoning is mooi gerenoveerd, gezellig ingericht en al het nodige is aanwezig. De binnenkoer is klein, maar biedt voldoende ruimte om te ontbijten of een boek te lezen. Er is geen parkeerplaats aan de woning, maar wij hebben altijd kunnen parkeren naast het kasteel aan de kaai. Via een ‘ruelle’ was het dan slechts 2 minuten stappen tot de woning. Montsoreau is klein, met mooi onderhouden authentieke huizen. Op 700m van de woning is het dorpsplein met bakker, slager, horeca,…'

'An amazing place in my favourite red wine region of France (which alas at the moment I cannot drink). To be in this great setting when the vines are just being picked was a joy. Frederic the owner is a wonderful gracious host and it made it a more personal stay to have the host nearby if needed, and be left his own wine to drink. On the first night we were invited to a soiree at his chateau which we missed as too tired after a long journey. This is a fantastic setting and the accommodation is...

'The house is really comfortable and centrally located. Groceries in Loudun and trips to Saumur/Chinon are easily setup. The house is cool and has everything you need to spend a day at the pool. Even with young kids like ours. The concierge is really helpful and supportive. In short, we had a blast. Thank you.'

'Fabulous gite in a fantastic location. Great for the Loire a Velo route and lots of quiet roads to cycle on. Very well equipped gite and the owners Rene and Nicole were very helpful and friendly. Overall a fantastic holiday!'

'Die Begrüßung durch Familie Prot war sehr freundlich.Zu Beginn gab es eine kurze Einweisung, die wir nützlich fanden.Das Haus entspricht dem Internetauftritt.Die Lage ist sehr ländlich und ruhig. Ab und zu kräht der Hahn und das Quaken der Frösche war unser Urlaubssound.Das große Grundstück ist komplett eingezäunt, so dass unser Hund sich frei bewegen konnte.Innen ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht.Die Küche ist gut und reichhaltig ausgestattet.Das Gite de la Corn de Cerf ist günstig gelegen,...
