'I stayed here for one night with my partner we had a double room very clean with a good bed .On arrival staff very friendly&helpful we went for a friends party and reception advised us how to get there really good top location on the seafront, bar well stocked had a drink in afternoon and night staff great definately stay again a little gem .'

'Really good value hotel experience. I had a sea view from my room. I also really appreciated the continental breakfast inclusive of the price. I wasn't expecting it. Not all cheaper hotels are good, but this one is. Simple, great value and a lovely experience.'

'Staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms and the property were clean. Staff only entered rooms on request so i was happy to leave more valuable items in my room. Breakfast was good and basic. The parking on site is very limited but the whole of the prom has free parking.'

'We love the breakfast freshly cooked from the menu, there’s continental from the buffet as well. Apparently need to do some improvements with the room conditions. The housekeeper didn’t get the rubbish from the bin inside the toilet for 2 days. Hotel located opposite to the sea with beautiful views. Free parking along the road after 6pm until 9am. There is public parking available around. On the average ok for the stay, spacious room.'

'Considering the price, the apartment was ok. There is an air fryer, kettle and toaster. Washing up is a challenge in the small sink in the bathroom. Filling the kettle is difficult as it doesn't fit under the tap in the bathroom! The bed was ok, but you can feel the springs. The TV didn't work as the aerial lead was damaged. The hair drier was dangerous as it was full of dust and smelt of burning. The views over the bay were spectacular. Ok for a couple of nights, no longer though.'

'We stayed at The Fleece for a couple of nights. Our welcome as a pleasant professional one, despite the bar and restaurant being busy. Our room and the linen was very clean, and although quite warm, there was a fan provided that did the trick. We ate in the restaurant one evening and the food was good, and the breakfast, which was included, was delicious. Lovely beer garden/ courtyard to enjoy a relaxing beer. 'Breakfast was very good. Room a bit small and no drawers to put any thing. Staffs are good. The only problem is they didn't make up my room even though I put up the sign.'

'We have stayed here several times over the years as our daughter attended Lancaster University. This has always been our “Go To” place and has never disappointed. It is clean and tidy and has everything you need for a short visit. Our daughter has now graduated, but I am sure we will be back in the future and look forward to coming back to The Royal.'

'From easy parking, ease of checkin, spotlessly clean room, comfortable bed. Hot drink making facilities and a nice addition of water in the mini fridge, access to a dining area downstairs with microwave, hot drink facilities and a toaster was all you needed. The price reflects the absence of breakfast supplied and to be honest, we preferred this option. Great value for money. We will be back! '

'Stayed in suite 2. Communication prior to stay was good re parking and check in which was as advised. Only slight issue was getting info suite which had very stiff front door. Lovely apartment , very clean on arrival with complimentary beer , prosecco and soft drinks. Information provided in apartment advised it would be serviced following day. Jacuzzi worked once we got the hang of it.TV kept pixeling but got better. Comfortable bed and furnishings. Stayed Friday and Saturday night, got back...
