'Im März war es doch noch ziemlich frisch, die Heizung funktionierte. Wir haben ein Upgrade bekommen und dadurch in der 2. Ebene eine sehr große sonnige Terrasse bekommen. Die Unterkunft ist nicht für mobilitätseingeschränkte Personen geeignet, viele Treppen, kein Fahrstuhl. Einziges Makel: das Frühstück wird nicht am Buffet eingenommen, sondern man wählt aus einem Menü und erhält eine Box und speist im Zimmer oder auf der Terrasse des Hauses. 'It was a clean room - but I noticed some stains and such. The photo canvas above the bed was crooked seemed like someone needed to redo the nails on the walls. The duvet was just a simple linen cloth, so was quite cold during the night. Unfortunately, could hear the people next door late at night which didn't help, and the outside cars/traffic. You can walk to the major areas within 20 minutes which wasn't too bad.'

Onze gastvrouw bij het ontbijt, Sofia, sprong er echt wel uit. Wat een fantastisch lief mens dat haar vak echt verstaat. Echt een zonneschijn in de ochtend met haar prachtige glimlach. 'Good hotel to visit Athens, a little out of the city but very easy to walk to metro or city center. Hotel and breakfast were very clean en very good, if you don’t want to walk anything you’ll need a hotel more near the city Center'

'I loved having an apartment Kolinaki - it’s a very safe and pretty area with nice restaurants and high end shops. Once I got in touch with the host, communication was great but I had to call first to confirm everything. The wear of the show was the rooftop porch with a view of the acropolis and being able to watch the lights coming on as the sunset set. Great little kitchen and it was nice to have a washer dryer.'

From outside the building and even in main corridor, you would not think how it could look inside. 'Staff friendly and very helpful. Breakfast buffet was average. Stayed for 5 nights and the breakfast selections remained the same daily.'

'Standard hostel. Felt like Unsafe area. Dark and sketchy. Not on the main road. Had to take some twists and turns to get there. Far from the Acropolis. Not within walking distance you would have to take a bus or train. No views of anything. First pic is the view outside of the tiny window in the room. Beds were comfortable. I got bit up by some bugs my guess were mosquitoes (I’m hoping not bedbugs) because I left the window open, it was stuffy and hot in the room I needed ventilation.'

'The bathroom was a bit unclean. The shower floor had debris and rust, as did the floor and sink faucet. It was also unclear how I could receive new garbage bags, towels, etc. I only had one garbage bag in the living area for the whole trip.'
