« Unfortunately, this property wasn't as comfortable as I was hoping for. In particular, the bathroom wasn't great. I'm not a clean freak and even this was below my standards. There is nowhere in the shower to place shampoo bottles so you have to set it on the shower floor, which isn't very clean. « Blowing Rock is a beautiful little town. Unfortunately, big conglomerates are buying up the small hotel properties, and the personal service that was once the rule is now lacking entirely. « The Treehouse Suite at The Calhoun House is a great property. This particular suite is located in a separate building from the other suites, which was ideal for us, as we had our baby and toddler with us. We did not worry about disturbing other guests if he cried or was a little loud. Edward was amazing as we checked in.
