'We were perfectly situated to get to Taormina center. Everything in Casa Florio worked well with extras such as a bottle of wine and plenty of Nespresso capsules for the machine! The spiral staircase looks daunting but functions well. Luckily the bathroom is also upstairs with the bedroom so there were no trips down in the dark. There are two air conditioner units; we could use just what we needed where we needed and it was appreciated to keep the upstairs bedroom cool for sleeping. Genius...

'Multi-generational family visiting Taormina for the first time. Casa di Nonno was a wonderful experience and location! Communication with host was thorough and prompt. We even arranged ground transportation as well. Once we were on site, Christina made sure we had everything we needed, including coming to our rescue when we locked ourselves out! 'Nous avons pris une location de 10 jours chez Maria, une hôte irréprochable, au petit soins et toujours disponible. Nous sommes arrivés après 2 jours de route et quel bonheur de voir cette maison de village en pierre rénovée, propre avec tout le confort nécessaire. 'Motta Camastra is a family treasure that has been painstakingly and beautifully restored. The town is very old, population about 800. The residents are very friendly and helpful. The town sits on a mountain top with beautiful vistas and fabulous sunsets. Fabulous views of Mt Etna. Not the easiest to druve to sitting on a mountain top. VERY winding road up to the town with many SHARP hairpin turns--not for the faint of heart! Host and hostess were extremely nice.'

'We had a wonderful & relaxing stay despite the disruptions to our flights to & from Catania (airport fire). The villa was clean and tidy but 3rd bedroom did not have air-conditioning. The owners were very helpful, recommending & booking restaurants, all the way to providing home grown vegetables & fresh eggs.'

'Everything was absolutely perfect with our stay! The home is beautiful, well decorated, comfortable, and spotless clean! The pictures do not do it justice. We could not have been more comfortable. We enjoyed going to the opera right across the street, the neighborhood market, right around the corner, and purchasing fresh produce from the vendor at the bottom of the hill, Carlos. I only wish we could’ve stayed longer. And, the weather could’ve been a little better to enjoy the lovely sun patio....

'Wir haben die Zeit in dem schönen Dorfhaus in Forza d'Agrò sehr genossen. Es gibt eine komplette Ausstattung und man fühlt sich sehr wohl. Der Ausblick vom Balkon ist grandios und das Dorf ist wirklich wunderbar. Wenn man vor dem Urlaub ein paar Worte italienisch lernt, fühlt man sich doppelt so willkommen, aber auch ohne Sprachkenntnisse verhungert man nicht ;) Von uns eine klare Empfehlung'

'Giovanna and Francesco is a very vriendly and helpfull couple. They did all the things to make our stay very pleasant. They give good information, fruit, wine and vegetables from their own garden. 'We stayed in this villa for a cycling trip with six people. For this purpose, the villa is great with a nice location for numerous trips, a pool to cool down in, and a breathtaking view when relaxing after a ride. There are some nice little towns around, a bit off the beaten track. The house has six beds (excl. the couches) so with six everyone has his/her own bed. Kitchen is equipped well enough to cook for all. Only downside is the steep, gravel road you need to climb and descent on each trip....

'Top locatie.Zo gezellig uit de woning midden in de winkels en restaurants.Alleen voor wat oudere mensen is sjouwen met zware koffers naar 4 hoog is niet handig.We hebben de woonkamer in de topetage bijna niet gebruikt.Na een dag door de stad lopen is thuis trap op trap af voor elke wissewasjes wel erg vermoeiend.Voor de rest hebben we genoten van ons verblijf en de woning ziet er prima uit.'

We spent most of our time at Mazarro beach which is sandy and has a small public area. 'Nettes Ferienhaus am Rande von Letojanni mit einer sehr netten Vermieterin. Wir hatten bei der Ankunft eine große Schale mit frischen Orangen und Zitronen auf dem Tisch stehen, im Kühlschrank war eine Flasche Wasser. Auch bei sonstigen Problemen half uns die Vermieterin promt und unkompliziert weiter. Das Haus ist schön am Rande von Letojanni gelegen, alles ist fußläufig gut erreichbar. 'We would recommend this apartment for a stay in Taormina. The apartment itself was beautiful- it had everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable. It’s a bit further from the main tourist area, but it was a fairly easy 10 minute walk to get there. It’s worth noting that there is a parking deck available not TOO far away, but you will climb a ton of stairs to get back to the street/apartment. 'Positive: This is a cute place in the town of Taormina. Negative: it is LOUD. They’re a lot noise until very late at night (ie 2am). Not only that, there’s the garbage/ recycling truck that comes by EVERY morning around 7am. This could have been mentioned in the description of the house.
