Villa Almendro has implemented all the health measures required by the Costa Rican government to fight COVID. Your stay with us will be as safe as it can be !!!

Catch your breathe at The Breeze, Tamarindo's finest modern luxury retreat .

Our compound consists of 5 villas - Villa Cortes, Coco Bolo, Ron Ron, Almendro and Joe Guanacaste.

Our villas can accommodate up to 5 adults or 4 adults and 2 children. There is a $35 fee per person/per night for each additional person more than 4 people.

Situated approximately 150 meters/yards from the beach, our superb vacation home lies nestled in a perfect tropical setting. A magnificently preserved Guanacaste tree accentuates the ground's beauty. Lush tropical gardens are woven around this sensational two-bedroom, two bath jewel, which opens up to a cascading split-level pool and lounging area - perfect for a dip in the water or an afternoon of soaking up Costa Rica's rich rays of sun.

Our four two-bedroom villas are single story. The first bedroom has a king-size bed and the second bedroom has two twin beds. Each bedroom has it's own private bathroom, and sliding glass doors open up onto each bedroom's patio. Luxury linens and great mattresses are key to the divine sleeping comfort our beds provide. For your convenience, our bathrooms are stocked with luxurious bath and pool/beach towels.

Full kitchens throughout all the homes are complete with refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster-oven and coffee maker, along with contemporary dishes, cookware and silverware. Dine outdoors on your covered patio just off the living room as you enjoy the sites and sounds of paradise.

Sleekness and simple elegance are synonymous with THE BREEZE. From the living room's stylish red sofa to the bedroom's tasteful bed linens, the décor has been meticulously chosen by the proprietors to blend boutique hotel-style intimacy with a flair for the cosmopolitan. Among the many amenities are air conditioning in all bedrooms, 2 flatscreen TV's per unit, hi-speed wireless internet, daily 24-hour security within a gated community, free maid service, and babysitting and laundry services for a fee.

Great location, helpful host

We had a great stay here. It's a tropical oasis close to the beach, shopping, great restaurants and bars. Tamarindo is a lively city and this property is very quiet, which we very much appreciated. The garden and pool are meticulously maintained. Our host was incredibly helpful, offering to arrange excursions, providing insider knowledge about what to see and where to eat. We definitely recommend staying here.

Wonderful location and staff

We thoroughly enjoyed our one week stay at The Breeze. It was close to everything, easy to navigate without a car, and still be able to do so many activities, especially fishing and sunset cruises. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The property is well maintained and cared for. All appliances, air conditioning, and fans were in good working order which kept us comfortable in high heat and humidity. We highly recommend staying here for a stress free vacation! We look forward to staying here again.

Great retreat close to everything

Really enjoyed our stay here. Right on the edge of downtown Tamarindo but secluded enough to get away from the hustle and bustle of everything going on in town. Really enjoyed relaxing by the small pool, which we had to ourselves almost every day. The owner, Jean Marc, is wonderful and gave us great recommendations for restaurants and things to do.

Quiet Retreat on the Edge of Downton

Great, small retreat in a perfect location! Right in the edge of downtown but not in the middle of all the chaos. Short two block walk to the beach and easy access to Langosta. Enjoyed the small pool each day and the great restaurants within easy walking distance. Jean Marc is fantastic and will answer any questions you have and gives great recommendations.

Tamarindo Vacation

The Breeze property and it’s support staff were awesome. The location was very close to town center. We were very comfortable and felt safe. The pool was right in front of our door. It was very clean and we enjoyed it every day of our stay.The property manager checked in with us daily to ensure we had everything we needed, and also was an excellent resource for advice and local recommendations. He also assisted us in making tour reservations. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Costa Rica

A terrific time in Costa Rica

Costa Rica! What a beautiful place. The property at The Breeze was just the icing on the cake! Our villa was everything we needed for our get away. The cascading pool right outside our door was so refreshing on those warm afternoons. We were able to view the native birds,iguanas and of course the howler monkeys all from this breathtaking property. Luca and his staff took care of us and our needs along with keeping the property in pristine condition. Before we had even arrived at the property , Jean Marc was involved with our arrangements for our trip. He answered all our questions which helped us enjoy our trip even more. While we were there he also recommended and lined up tours and excursions for us. We would highly recommend this beautiful villa, with it's ideal location to the beach, to anyone coming to Tamarindo. Tropical Paradise

Everything was amazing. Damaris and Luca went out of their way to make us comfortable, always around if you needed anything without being intrusive. Property was cleaned everyday, can not say enough about Damaris, she is lovely. Lucas helped us arranged our fishing trip with one phone call(Willie was the captain of our boat and was amazing), he helped with renting a car and was available well into the evening to answer random questions that we had. They property it self is beautiful kept, when you walk through the white gate it is like being in your own person tropical paradise. I would not hesitate to stay again. Pura Vida

This is a well maintained property in a great location near the beach, super market, and lots of restaurants. The property manager is very friendly and accommodating. 2 bedroom setup is great for families of four and our kids loved the clean pool.

Loved every minute

Loved it. The house was clean and exactly as described- can’t beat the location near town and the beach with easy parking and the refreshing pool. Jean Marc and Luca were great hosts. & we had 4 full houses while we were there, so it was fun to meet other families from all over while still enjoying the quiet and privacy of a house. Great restaurants within a block, close to a mini market so we had coffee and breakfast on the porch. & used the awesome bbq one day. Even the housekeeper was a pleasure to talk with every day. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Our family of 5 will definitely be back!

A little oasis

Jean Marc was a very welcoming host, greeting us with a smile every time he saw us. He provided restaurant recommendations, told us about local activities, and generally wanted us to enjoy his little slice of heaven as much as he did. It was quiet at night even though it was less than a block from a busy street full of restaurants. Very short walk to the beach, just past a bunch of delicious food trucks.

Above and Beyond!

Everything about The Breeze exceeded our expectations. It’s a beautiful, safe oasis. Jean Marc, the owner, and his property manager, Luca, made us feel welcome and cared for. They booked days trips for us, airport transfers, told us where to shop/eat/surf and checked on us everyday, usually when we were lounging by the refreshing pool. Even our jaded twin 17 year olds loved it, the pool especially, and wanted to stay longer. Jean Marc and Rhonda have created a very special place in Tamarindo and we know we will be back! Thank you for a wonderful week!

This is a great place to stay in Tamarindo!

There is great access to the Beach, a grocery store, And convenient to a lot of the local restaurants. The owner and staff are very helpful and quick to fix anything needed. This is the spot to enjoy The Pura Vida of Tamarindo.

Excellent choice

I was looking for a place in Tamarindo that was clean, quiet, centrally located, with privacy, and has a great pool. This place has that and more. We saved so much money being able to cook lunches and dinners so the prices is well worth it making this a top place to stay with high value. The owner came once to meet my family (3 of us) and was very kind and helpful through the booking process. Highly recommended
