Casa Cay is a gorgeous beachfront villa situated in the desirable Las Golondrinas community – Costa Rica’s premier beachfront golf and equestrian resort. Hacienda Pinilla is located just 15 minutes south of famous Tamarindo and offers 3 miles of coastline, Mike Young signature golf course, world-class surfing breaks, calm swimming coves, beachfront club, fitness center, tennis, equestrian trails and J.W. Marriott.

Located just steps from the beach—less than a minute walk—this beautiful home offers access to some of Costa Rica’s most stunning beaches and a world-class range of amenities. We recommend renting a car to help you easily get around to the beach club, beaches, and Tamarindo.

Our beachfront home has 2 wings separated by a charming infinity pool and exterior terrace. The first wing consists of a gorgeous sprawling great room with kitchen/living/dining/half bathroom on the main floor and a lovely master suite with private terrace and spa ensuite bathroom (soaker tub, shower, double vanities) on the second floor. The second wing of Casa Cay consists of 2 connecting bedrooms, each with ensuite bathrooms on the main floor and another master suite with ensuite bathroom and terrace on the second floor. There is also a 5th custom bunk bedroom with 2 queen beds below and 2 twin beds above .

We total 5 bedrooms (2 master suites) – all with exterior access for privacy. This relaxed tropical home also offers 5.5 baths, 4800 square feet of elegant living, highest end construction, Casa Bella interior with gorgeous handmade furnishings, Almendro hardwood floors, Australian doors, private courtyard with vanishing edge pool and jacuzzi jets, tropical landscaping, Terrazzo counters, custom baths (limestone), kitchen (stainless steel), wireless internet, polished concrete floors. There is also a stationary bike and stepper available in one of the bedrooms.

Bedroom one: 1 King bed
Bedroom two: 1 King bed
Bedroom three: 1 King bed
Bedroom four: 1 King bed
Bedroom five: 2 bunk beds (each one has a queen bed on the lower level and a twin bed on the top.) This room has its own private door with no ensuite bathroom. You must walk down a path in order to reach the bathroom. It might not be suitable for small children.

As a special perk, guests of Casa Cay enjoy exclusive access to the private Beach Club. Relax by the oceanfront pool, dine at the full-service restaurant, and enjoy the security of a lifeguard on duty at Playa Avellanas. For those looking for adventure, guests can rent surfboards and boogie boards or book surfing lessons right on-site. The Beach Club also offers a gym with available fitness classes such as yoga and Zumba. Please note: while there is a $10 per person entry fee, this access is not available to the general public- your booking includes membership access.

* Playa Avellanas: Just steps from the Beach Club, this stunning sandy beach is perfect for boogie boarding, surfing, and beach walks. At low tide, enjoy a scenic ¾-mile walk to Lola’s, a famous beachfront restaurant and bar.
* Playa Langosta: A beautiful white-sand beach ideal for surfing and relaxing. It’s about a mile walk at low tide or a short drive. Facilities like bathrooms and showers are available.
* Casa Cay’s Beachfront: Directly in front of the home, guests will find tide pools perfect for exploring during low tide. Just 20 yards to the left is a beautiful snorkeling lagoon—a hidden gem you won’t want to miss.

Important Tip: The tides here are very dramatic and can change the beach experience throughout the day. We recommend downloading a “Tides” app to track low and high tides, as they shift by about an hour each day.

We have a no-tolerance rule about parties and loud noise, so please be aware that complaints from neighbors, notifications from authorities, notifications from our noise monitoring software, or any other proof of disruptive behavior or loud noise between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM will result in fines of up to $1000.00, possible eviction and / or possible legal action if authorities are involved.
*Important* If you are a Costa Rica resident booking with a local credit card, you will get charged IVA from your bank automatically aside from the AirBNB tax and will need to handle this directly with your bank. This is a separate localized fee that is done automatically outside of AirBNB.

Guest Agreement: By proceeding with this booking, the guest acknowledges and accepts that the total cost includes a mandatory, non-refundable Transaction Fee and a Damage Waiver Fee. The guest agrees that these fees are fully earned upon the commencement of the rental period and are strictly non-refundable after the stay has concluded, regardless of any post-stay claims or disputes.
