« We’ve stay here a half dozen times now and it’s one of my favourite places. The location is perfect, close to Akaroa but far enough away to be so peaceful. The home is beautiful and the host makes everything so easy. »

« This home was personally built and designed by the owners with high end finishes, design elements with a stunning kitchen and living room with two very nice bathrooms and side covered porch and three bedrooms. A foreground decididuous tree does obscure your center view at perhaps except in winter but the bay is especially viewable from porch and kitchen and one of the bedrooms. The parking area is private for this property and sits just above it's roofline. We highly recommend this property. »

« Lovely comfortable home for extended family stay. Once firewood was sorted (thankyou) fire was great for heating whole house. Spectacular views from main bedroom and lounge plus decks. Very close to Akaroa. Unfortunately didnt get email re checking in arrangements but sorted quickly once we got someone on the phone! »

« This home is beautiful and very accessible to the town of Christchurch and surrounding attractions. My children loved the pool and the kitchen was very user friendly and spacious. The only complaint was that there were not many hangers in each room and limited towels. The showers leaked on the floor and we needed to use the towels to dry the floors and ensure they would be safe given that they were concrete and slippery when wet. « The house was perfect for our family of 5. Very well maintained and plenty of room kids and adults alike. All the amenities are in good condition and there’s everything you need for a lovely stay. The location was perfect. A stunning view over the valley, lots of sun and just a short walk into Akaroa. I had a couple of queries of my own making and Dave was super helpful and really responsive…an excellent host. »
