'Complicated review - night time the front desk girl was awesome. Thank you! The morning person, I think there’s a humanity that is sadly, going away. No one was at the hotel but me and a few cars and I needed a little more time to work. Policy is let’s get as much money as possible, kindness would have noticed the slow middle of the week day and said ‘no problem! To an extra 30 minutes to an hour in the room. 'The staff was so friendly and the rooms were really close walking distance from everything we barely moved our car during our stay! The rooms could be slightly cleaner but they were very comfortable and the no A/C was no problem for us. I would definitely stay here again!'

'Location is great. Property is a little quirky. Rooms are fine, my only complaint is the bathroom. Sink with hardly any space to leave toiletries, and a very plastic showercurtain.

'I would stay here again. On site sauna and gym open til 10pm, gym is small but clean. They also have an on-site restaurant thats extra but breakfast was fresh and quality was excellent. One mile walk into downtown Truckee and 0.5 mile walk to nearest plaza that has a decent Thai and wine restaurant. Short 20 mins drive from Palisades if there's no traffic.'

'I was not aware that none of the amenities were gonna be open. None of the shops or restaurants or anything was open in the village the entire time of our stay. That is probably my fault for assuming and not checking. Every single thing in the village was closed other than the hotel. The reason why we went there was because we thought we were gonna be close to several things and not have to travel very far. Other than that, the room was great. Everything was very clean and well kept.'
