On Friday evening, I arrived at the Grand Hotel Tabor. When I pressed the bell to gain access, I was kindly told to come to the first floor, where the reception is located. At the reception, there was a lovely lady with a young daughter who was helping her a little due to the school holidays. After filling out the forms, the lady and her daughter took me to the room—a nice personal touch! The room was clean and looked atmospheric. Breakfast was served every morning between 7:30 and 9:30 in the room that served as the reception during the day. This space was also cozy and atmospherically furnished for approximately 20 people; you could trace the history of the hotel there, among other things—an old cash register and newspaper articles—but, importantly... the breakfast was also well-prepared. There were cereals, fruit, yogurts, jams, but also chocolate spread, and various cold cuts and cheeses, and of course various types of eggs. The bread was always incredibly fresh; nothing was laid out in excessive quantities, but when it ran out, it was immediately replenished by the friendly and hard-working staff. In short... a very nice hotel with staff who still have a heart for the business. This is recognized and appreciated by someone who works in the hospitality industry themselves.
