Steno Ortigia Apartment

Apartment with balcony in a strategic position, 50m from the sea, washing machine, wi-fi and parking *.

POSITION

The apartment on the first floor of a building of two floors is located very close to the beach in a quiet area overlooking the quiet street in the historic center of Syracuse, Ortigia. Easily accessible from Catania Airport (60 km), airport Pio La Torre Comiso (100 km) or by train / bus (2 km).
The apartment is in a strategic location for a relaxing holiday: 50 meters from the stop of the electric bus and access to the beach, grocery stores (bakery, supermarket, newsagent) are located in the same neighborhood, and cafes and restaurants are easily accessible by foot. The nearest beach is 300 meters away.

WHAT IT OFFERS

The apartment of about 55 square meters, and it ss on two floors: the first floor is a living room with flat-screen TV and sofa bed for two people; a fully equipped kitchenette with fridge, freezer, electric cooker, microwave oven, service cookware, tableware, kettle, orange juicer, kitchen towels and coffee maker.
The bathroom is with shower and bidet. Because the ceiling is very high, it was created an additional floor with a full bedroom with a double bed with bedside tables, dresser and closet.
The apartment has air conditioning / heating and it has its own modem with unlimited wi-fi connection.

The balcony is equipped with table and two wooden chairs. A laundry room with washing machine and iron is suitable on the ground floor (shared with other 3 flats).
Please note that the apartment is on the first floor and has no lift.

BIKES
2 beautiful vintage bikes are available for free for my guests.
I will provide you a pump, a lock and a key to regulate the seats of the bikes.
I kindly ask you to use ALWAYS the lock and take care of them during your excursions.
Please if you're interested in using them let me know in advance to check the availability.


PARKING

Ortigia is a limited traffic area particularly in the evening after 8 p. m and week-ends. Close to my flat there'are some free parking spaces.
I strongly suggest you to reserve a parking space in a pay private garage or to park in the pay public parking.
The pay public parking "Talete" is about 700 meters from the flat. You can easily reach the flat by walking or taking the electric bus.
If you decide to park at Talete Parking, for unloading luggage during times of the ZTL, I can communicate your license plate to the police to avoid fines.
The pay private garage (guarded) is about 250 meters from the flat. I'm not the owner but I'll happy to reserve for you a parking space. In this case the owner of the garage will provide you a "pass" to enter in Ortigia even during the ZTL times.

*** VINTAGE BIKES are available from MAY 2017 FOR FREE only for guests that book directly with us. Bikes must be booked in advance. A refundable deposit of 100 euros will be requested upon arrival for the bikes.
