Clean apartment, good overall location, but with caveats...
The apartment was nice, but only sparsely appointed. For example, toilet paper was the only paper product, no paper towels, tissues, napkins available. Only two wine glasses and two small rocks glasses and a few cups with very little in the way of cookware, utensils, silverware. There were multiple hands-off hosts/managers and questions were responded to slowly if at all. For example, there is no house “manual”and I asked how to operate the cooktop to make coffee and was never answered. The entrance is through confusing back alleys and poor phone navigation accuracy made it hard to find when we returned at night. The apartment is entered by two levels of narrow, winding stairs that were difficult with luggage and the stair lights are on short-timed switches that often left us on the steps in the dark at night. While we were met to check in, the checkout was remote and that host nearly got us locked in the stairwell by asking us to leave the keys in the closed apartment when they are needed to unlock the outside door to the alleyway. The 10 am checkout is too early for an apartment stay and should be 11 am like most. Overall, our least favorite of the nine places we stayed on our trip. We would not stay here again.
