What We Love

Mezzanine Magic is a three bedroom, two bathroom split-level apartment in a 1925 building in the heart of Bondi Junction, Sydney, about a 2 minute walk from Westfield Bondi Junction and a 7 minute walk from Bondi Junction Station. It sleeps up to 6 guests across a super king bedroom on the mezzanine with ensuite and study, a queen bedroom and a double bedroom, with a private balcony, air conditioning and heating, and an internal laundry. Bondi Beach is about 5 minutes by car. Rated 5 stars by past guests.

It suits families and groups of friends wanting space close to shopping and transport, corporate guests needing a study and a quick train into the CBD, and longer stays, with a full kitchen, dishwasher and laundry.

Living & Dining
Great care has been taken to preserve the building's original 1925 features, including soaring detailed ceilings, original architraves and restored exposed brickwork, paired with a sympathetic contemporary renovation and interiors styled by a professional designer. A double-height arched window frames the open plan living space, where a marble dining table sits between the sleek black kitchen and a soft white sofa facing a wall-mounted TV with Netflix and streaming services. The kitchen has an island bench, oven, stove, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle and coffee maker. The private balcony extends the living space outdoors.

Mezzanine Level
A striking spiral staircase leads up to the main bedroom, where corniced ceilings sit above an ebony bed frame once owned by actor Errol Flynn. This level also has an ensuite with shower over bath, and a study, ideal for longer stays or working from home.

Ground Level
Two further bedrooms sit on the ground level: one with a hardwood queen four-poster bed, and one with a French sleigh double bed. A second bathroom with shower and the internal laundry with washer and dryer are also on this level.

- Shopping: Westfield Bondi Junction is moments away, with high street and luxury boutiques, a cinema and supermarkets under one roof.
- Cafés & Dining: Cafe Bellagio is at the end of the street for your morning coffee, and Vacanza in Bronte and Passeggiata serve excellent Italian nearby. Bondi Road is lined with restaurants and cafés to suit any craving.
- Parks & Tennis: Centennial Park is a short walk away for running, cycling and picnics, and Cooper Park has tennis courts set among bushland.
- Beaches & Coast: Spend a day watching the surfers at Bondi Beach, or swim at Bondi Icebergs, the historic ocean pool with a sauna and café. The Bondi to Bronte clifftop walk is a must, showcasing the best of Sydney's coastline.

Bondi Junction Station and bus interchange connect you to the CBD and the beaches, and Uber and GoGet car share are readily available.

Home Truths

- The mezzanine bedroom is reached by a spiral staircase, which can be tricky with luggage. Please supervise young children on the stairs.
- The apartment sleeps 6, but the dining table seats 4.
- There is no on-site parking. Street parking nearby is limited and may be time restricted. A council parking permit is available for long-term stays, subject to availability.
- This is a smoke-free property, and pets are not permitted.
