B&B in Swaffham

'Sian, the landlady is wonderful -- friendly and extremely helpful. Hotel's.com said there are laundry facilities but this is not true. BUT Sian did our laundry for us. We stayed in the annex but no one who was mobility problems, or is tall or heavy should stay there -- it is difficult to maneuver under the low ceilings. '

'This property was in an ideal position for the beach and the host Nigel was great, breakfast was very adequate and offered a good choice of cereals yogurts and bread . Eggs were available to have either scrambled or boiled. Tea coffee and orange juice was readily available. However first impressions of the site and room were a bit disappointing !The room lacked a good standard of cleanliness and our sheets were a bit on the grubby side. 'Great country inn in a small picturesque village. The food and drink was excellent with some unusual choices on the menu. The room had everything we needed and the bed was comfortable.'

'This is a great venue if you wish to be off grid lifestyle. For us it didn’t quite meet our needs as our dog couldn’t manage the staircase & although we thought we had a shower and separate bathroom we only had a bath. Hot water is at a premium here we found & lacking in water pressure. But truly a great venue if you wish to unplug, & chill. One recommendation I would make, to help dogs relax. Is to the make the gardens private with privacy screens. The dog next door was barky & uneasy...

'Prima locatie, goede kamer en dito service en ontbijt! Prijs-kwaliteit is eveneens goed. De ontbijtzaal was wel wat krapjes voor het aantal aanwezigen en 's avonds laat deed de douche het helaas niet (probleem bleek 's morgens een elektriciteit-stop, was toen wel snel verholpen). Toch zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.'

Unfortunately, I thought the room looked rather tired and I found the bed quite uncomfortable, with hard ridges across the mattress all the way down. The bathroom in our room was OK but quite small. There were no shelves or anywhere to put toiletries or cosmetics. '

'Property has been upgraded downstairs and the restaurant and bar area are lovely as is the outside courtyard. When you go upstairs it’s apparent that an upgrade is still required. Our room - 3 - overlooked a very busy main road and the secondary double glazing did nothing to keep the constant traffic noise at bay. There are two windows in that’s room. And they are old and rotten. Triple glazed windows required. Carpets need replacing. Bathroom has been upgraded and is very pleasant but b&b...

'Lovely hosts, unique accomm in converted primary school and antiques showroom, excellent twin room with spacious bathroom and walk-in shower. Beautiful breakfast. Nearby Kings Arms a wonderful community run pub with very good real ales and good food.'
