'Goed hotel/appartement, prima service en ontbijt. Vooral de 24 uur gratis snacks en wasservice is perfect. Super ligging bij walk of fame, dome etc..parkeren kost wat 17 dollar ongeveer per nacht maar geen geld voor die omgeving. Zou het zo weer boeken. Zeer ruime kamers.'

'What a classic. My room was small but cosy, very nice bed and good amenities. The overall style is a bit darkish but that's in line with the original design. The lobby is fantastic art deco styled. The absolute highlight of the hotel is the pool. The setting is very Hollywood, the cabins, the restaurants, the service. All ace.'

'Zeer vriendelijk personeel, comfortabele bedden, WiFi was prima, alles was basic maar netjes. Douche was voldoende, airco was matig. Wat daklozen in de buurt, maar die zijn moeilijk te vermijden in LA. In Thai Town, dus veel lekkere Thaise eetgelegenheden in de buurt.'

But things that can be improved. 1) provide complimentary water bottles. 2) destination fee was a surprise 3) no bell boy service 4) parking is super expensive. $50 per day 5) swimming pool was very cold. I understand it is winter time, but they could have heated the pool. The breakfast service staff were very good & caring. '
