We stay in a variety of Sun Valley properties throughout the year (15-20 stays per year) and have never written a bad review, but this property requires some comments. Amenities were unsatisfactory across the board! Furnishings old, carpets stained, pots and pans old and not a proper selection to cook - no strainer, no plastic spatula, etc. They didn't have basic items like sugar or oil, but were kind enough to leave expired cream of mushroom soup, a sprouting garlic clove, and multiple bags of open coffee from who knows when in the cabinets. TVs were so old they didn't have a wifi option - not ideal for children who want to watch Netflix or Amazon. As my husband stated, "TV's are so cheap now... go to Costco and update them for a few hundred dollars." All of the clocks in the house were wrong. The games all had missing pieces making them unusable, which was upsetting to our children. When you take out Hungry Hippo and there are two marbles that doesn't go over well. Why not replace or throw them away?
The house was not clean and quite worn. Carpets stained, cushions stained. Long dark hairs on towels and bedding. Not the best experience when you take off the decorative pillows and there are hairs all over them.
Also worth noting, we requested early check-in and were denied. In fact, the cleaning crew wasn't out of the place until after 4PM. Then, when requesting late checkout (2PM) we were required to pay an additional fee.
I could go on, but you get the point. With so many wonderful options in Sun Valley/Ketchum, I would suggest staying somewhere that the details and cleanliness have not been overlooked. I guess if all you care about is having a bunch of beds, this condo will work, but we will not be returning.
